AbstractThe cover picture shows the syntheses (on a gram scale) of (2S)‐R207910 and (2R)‐R207910, which can be utilized to stop the spread of tuberculosis. The key steps involved in the syntheses include Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation, regioselective epoxide ring opening and modified allylzinc bromide addition. Details are discussed in the article by S. Chandrasekhar, G. S. K. Babu, and D. K. Mohapatra on p. 2057 ff.
