Kohesivitas Kelompok ditinjau dari Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Komitmen Organisasi pada Organisasi Mahasiswa

This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and organizational commitment with group cohesiveness in student organizations. The sample in this study consisted of 31 members of the Ahmad Dahlan University Faculty Student Executive Board. The method used is correlation. Data collection used group cohesiveness scale, interpersonal communication scale and organizational commitment scale. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The result showed that interpersonal communication and organizational commitment with group cohesiveness was 0.810 with p = 0.000 (<0.05). It was included thar interpersonal communication and organizational commitment have a relationship to group cohesiveness.

Pengaruh Media Macromedia Flash Terhadap Literasi Sains dan Sikap Demokratis Mahasiswa

College students are often considered as adult humans so that when learning science, the use of interesting media is not noticed. Quality science learning can form college students who have scientific literacy and high democratic attitudes which are very important in the 21st century. The solutions that can be used to solve these problems is the macromedia flash learning media. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of macromedia flash on scientific literacy; 2) the influence of macromedia flash on democratic attitudes; 3) the effect of macromedia flash on scientific literacy and democratic attitudes of college students simultaneously. This study used a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all PGSD Semester IV students of Ahmad Dahlan University. Sampling with cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected by tests and questionnaires. Analysis of research data using t and manova test. Based on the results of the study obtained both t and manova tests, the significance value is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that: 1) there is an effect of macromedia flash on scientific literacy; 2) there is an effect of macromedia flash on democratic attitudes; 3) there is an effect of macromedia flash on scientific literacy and democratic attitudes of college students simultaneously.

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF SERVICE QUALITY ON THE LEVEL OF STUDENT SATISFACTION

Introduction: This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of service quality on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta. And to find out how the influence of the quality of Administration services, library services and parking services on student satisfaction.
 Methods: This research is a survey research using a questionnaire as the instrument. The population in this study were students of the Ahmad Dahlan University Faculty of Economics and Business Yogyakarta. The sample in this study were 121 active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta using the Porposive Sampling Method. Namely the technique of determining the sample for certain considerations. Test the validity of the instrument using Confir Motory Factor Analysis. While the reliability test used Alpha Crombach. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique.
 Results: The results of this study indicate that the Administration variable (X1) has a significant positive effect on student satisfaction at the Ahmad Dahlan University Faculty of Economics and Business Yogyakarta. While the library variable (X2) has a significant positive effect on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta. And the third variable is the Parking variable (X3) has a positive significant effect on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta.

Information System Development Based-on ERP and RAD Methods: Application For Activities Information Broadcasting

As technology develops, information systems become very important in institutions. Information systems support the delivery of information quickly and accurately. The system is a reference at the Persada Islamic Boarding School Ahmad Dahlan University to develop an information delivery system using applications integrated. Manual systems cause the information to be less relevant, requiring an integrated and comprehensive system that can effectively and efficiently deliver information to students. The application developed using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) methods. The application of these methods requires two main steps, including determining ERP and RAD for implementation. The process for obtaining an ERP method requires steps such as Material Requirement Planning, Close-Loop, and Manufacturing Resource Planning, and Enterprise Resource Planning. The RAD method requires steps such as Requirement Planning, RAD Design Workshop, and Implementation. Application testing used black-box and alpha testing. Each of these tests obtained an accuracy of 95% and 97.7%. Thus, this application can be implemented in Persada very well on mobile and desktop platforms. Besides, the app used information broadcasting to users in real-time for any information in Persada.

Analysis of the Mathematical Communication Ability of Pre-Service Mathematics Teachers through Online Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system in all educational institution is shifted from face to face to online learning, including universities. This study aims to describe the results of the mathematical communication skills of class B students of Mathematics Education from Ahmad Dahlan University for the 2019/2020 academic year during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and to examine students' mistakes in solving differential calculus problems regarding the minimum, maximum material. This study employed descriptive qualitative research. The research instrument used is a test and interview guide. The data are collected using tests and interviews. The research subjects were selected by stratified random sampling technique so that 6 students are classified into high, medium and low categories. The questions are in the form of a description of one question with six questions. The results showed that students' mathematical communication skills on indicators (1) restating information was done appropriately, (2) writing down ideas or problem-solving steps clearly and precisely, some were not thorough, (3) presenting information using graphic images again. There are still things that they couldn't understand and (4) Writing down the answers according to what is known and are asked using mathematical formulas, some are still wrong because they are not accurate.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Terintegrasi High Order Thinking Skill terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Sikap Percaya Diri

This study aims to identify: (1) the impact of high order thinking skill integrated problem based learning on critical thinking skill; (2) the impact of high order thinking skill integrated problem based learning on student self-esteem; (3) the influence of high order thinking skill integrated problem based learning has both the critical thinking skill and self-esteem together. This study is an experimental quasi study with a pretest-posttest control design. The populationsof this study were the wholestudents of Primary School Teacher Education in the 4th semester of Ahmad Dahlan University by the year 2020/2021. This research used a random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using independent t-test and MANOVA, and Hoteling’s Trace test.The results showed that (1) there was an influence of HOTS integrated PBL that there are critical thinking skills; (2) there is an influence of HOTS integrated PBL that there is the confidence of the students; (3) there is an influence of HOTS integrated PBL that there arecritical thinking skills and confidence together

PEMILIHAN SOFTWARE SEBAGAI MEDIA AJAR SELAMA MASA COVID-19 DI UNIVERSITAS AHMAD DAHLAN

This research is the evolutionary analysis of the literature on articles or writing that discusses the use of software in learning at Ahmad Dahlan University during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this article is a literature study with several-page articles or articles from the world wide web, which is conducting with a narrative type (exposure) related to the topic of using the software in teaching-learning in the Covid-19 pandemic. The writer uses the data analysis technique by filtering (applies filters), based on 2019-2020. With the provisions of the title relevant to learning software, and the topic. Criteria in claims relating to software, applications, learning, campus, and pandemic or Covid-19. Thus the writer can further refine the article and match the subject matter, which is at the heart of the conflict to use as reading material and references in this article review—based on titles relevant to computer learning software and the topic. Overall, the core of this discussion is computer software that is popular in a pandemic, specially selected and used in learning at Ahmad Dahlan University.

Promoting Civic Intelligence in Applied Science to Promote Interaction between Science: An Overview in the Perspective of Citizenship Education

The idea of Civic Intelligence in the 21st century became a skill that began to be enlivened in student learning. Civic Intelligence as the accumulation of the citizens' intelligence is needed to guard citizens in the era of the industrial revolution that continues to develop. This study aims to determine the profile of Civic Intelligence in applied science in order to promote interaction between sciences in the perspective of Citizenship Education. Civic Intelligence learners in the perspective of Citizenship Education are from the cross-Departments and gender. The subjects in this study were 200 students from various Departments at Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta, consisting of 89 men and 111 women in detail. The method used in this research was a descriptive-quantitative research method. The research instruments were observation sheet, questionnaire, and a list of interview questions. Data obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed quantitatively so that the scores of students' Civic Intelligence were obtained correctly. The results found that the Civic Intelligence profile of students from various majors varied in several dimensions both male and female. Civic Intelligence in the spiritual, rational, emotional, and social dimensions is moderate while Civic knowledge, Civic Disposition, Civic Skills are moderate in both men and women. Further research is needed to improve students' Civic Intelligence training in learning.

The Effectiveness of Modelling Techniques in Improving Self-Efficacy of College Students

Higher education is greatly oriented on academic and practical aspect of knowledge. Somehow, college students are supposed to eligible and excellent in their knowledge competency, performance, and their confidence, particularly their self-efficacy. It is expected to maximize their learning and themselves to be a qualified graduates. This research aimed to discover the effectiveness of modelling technique to increase self-efficacy in college students of Ahmad Dahlan University boarding school. It used quantitative approach with quasi experiment using non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research was college students of Ahmad Dahlan University boarding school, amounting to 129 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The criteria for the studied sample in this study was college students of Ahmad Dahlan University boarding school with low self-efficacy. To collect data, this research used self-efficacy scale. The data was then analyzed by using non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the experimental group's self-efficacy before and after the treatment was given (sign = 0.018<0.05). These results implied that modelling technique was effective to increase self-efficacy college students of Ahmad Dahlan University boarding school. PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA POPULER BERBASIS WATTPAD SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI BACA TULIS

Student literacy ability of Indonesian Literature Study Program in Ahmad Dahlan University still lacks attention and handling. This resulted in a low ability of students in literacy literacy skills. While literacy skills can help students to develop critical thinking, divergent thinking, and positive thinking in solving problems. As scholars, prospective scientists and agents of change, students are required to master literacy skills and critical thinking in facing the 21st century's fierce competition. Literacy ability in question here is literacy in the broad sense of being aware of technology, conscious of information, thinking critically, and sensitive to the environment. A person is said to have literacy skills if he is able to understand something because he reads the right information and does something based on his understanding of the contents of the reading. The use of the internet in literary learning is considered to be used as one of the learning models which is supposed to be able to foster independence in learning Popular Literature. To examine the learning process of Wattpad-based Popular Literature, this study uses the mixed methods approach. The results of the study show that the Wattpad application can help students to sharpen literacy skills. The use of Wattpad is considered to provide an interesting learning experience for students.

Increased Motivation To Learn By Using Learning Model Learning Community Students Mathematics Education

This Research aims to increase the motivation of students in differential calculus learning using the Learning Community model in the class B Mathematics Education Program of Ahmad Dahlan University academic year 2018/2019, totaling 28 students. This type of research is a class action study consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The instrument used in this study is an observation sheet. The results showed that the student's learning motivation increased as demonstrated by the increased motivation of learning students from Cycle 1 which was 76.5 percent in the high category, while in Cycle 2 increased to 81.5 percent in the class very High. It can be concluded that using learning Model Learning Community can improve the cultivation of teaching differential calculus of class B students UAD mathematics education.

Accuracy Empathy of Student College of Java Tribe and Sunda Tribe

This study aims to describe the accuracy of empathy in Javanese and Sundanese students from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at Ahmad Dahlan University. Samples were taken by purposive sample with 60 students consisting of 30 Javanese students and 30 Sundanese students. The instrument used was empathy accuracy scale. The study results were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and different tests with Anova. The results showed that the accuracy of empathy among Javanese and Sundanese students had a significant value of 0.821 0.05, which means there was no significant difference between the accuracy of empathy among Javanese and Sundanese students. This research also reveals that the highest aspect of empathy accuracy in Javanese students is emotional concern, while Sundanese students are perspective taking. This means that the accuracy of empathy among Javanese students is higher in understanding and feeling the emotional of others, while the accuracy of empathy of Sundanese students is higher in understanding and placing themselves in the minds of others. The results of this study can be used as a base for developing techniques and strategies in guidance and counseling services that focus on developing accuracy of empathy in adolescents

Improving students’ essay writing skills by implementing peer feedback

The aim of this research is improving the students’ writing skill by implementing peer feedback. This study was a three cycle classroom action research at the English Education Department of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), Yogyakarta. It focused on the four aspects:designing and teaching the writing class implementing peer feedback, providing writing materials, varying tasks and enhancing students’ participation and interaction with peers in the learning process. The subjects consisted of 22 semester 4 students of Essay Writing-Class E. The quantitative data were collected through students’ essay scores, whereas the qualitative data were through fieldnotes, interview and portfolio. The research results in these findings. First, the students’ participation in the learning process is enhanced through their pair work, group work and whole class activity. By working collaboratively, the students take advantages of giving feedback improving their essay on these aspects:organization, content, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mechanics, style and quality of expression. Second, the students’ essay writing improves after peer feedback.Their essay mean scores increase from 63.09; 67.23 to 70.09.

Pengalaman Orang Tua dengan Anak yang Mengalami Hospitalisasi di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit Swasta Yogyakarta

Background: When children are hospitalized, parents feel stressed. Fifty percent of parents have severe anxiety and 30% of parents experience panic when their child is first hospitalized.
 Objective: to explore parent’s experience with hospitalized children.
 Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted at a private hospital in Yogyakarta. Data was collected in 2017. Participants in the study were selected using purposive sampling. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and interview guidelines. This research has received an ethical cleareance permit from the Ethics Committee of Ahmad Dahlan University. Data analysis use qualitative descriptive.
 Results: Emotional responses that arise in parents are sad, crying, anxiety, and worry, the emotional response of children is crying, fear, anxiety and the appearance of boredom, while the emotional response of siblings is anxiety and worry. The behavior and attitude of parents is to pray and try to be sincere and patient. Parents and nurses give support by providing opportunities for children to play and chat. Parents hope that their children can get well soon and get clear information about their child's condition.
 Conclusion: There are 4 theme in this research, emotional response, the parents behaviour and attitude, Support dan Parents hope.

Analysis toward relationship between mathematical literacy and creative thinking abilities of students

The skills that need to be possessed by teachers, especially mathematics teachers in the revolution 4.0 to deal with 21st century students include critical, creative, collaborative and communicative. Another skill needed is mathematical literacy. The aim of this research is to examine how the relationship between mathematical literacy and student`s creative thinking abilities. In this study, mathematical literacy has three aspects, namely interpret problems, formulate problems, and use mathematics inside solve the problem. And, creative thinking abilities has 4 aspect, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The type of the research using correlation ex-post facto research which the researcher does not give treatment to the respondent so that this study only reveals the variable as it is without connecting with other variables. Population used is all first semester students in the 2018/2019 academic year at Ahmad Dahlan University, which numbered 315 people with a total sample of 206 people. Technique data collection carried out in this study is data on mathematical literacy and student’s creative thinking abilities taken by distributing test instruments and interview. Test description is tested as much as 5 items which is a matter of mathematical literacy and creative thinking ability. Data analysis using regresion analysis and correlation coefficient test using Pearson product moment correlation technique. The results of the study indicates there is significant relationship between literacy skills mathematics with creative thinking of students.

Membangun Sikap Bela Negara Mahasiswa Melalui Pendidikan Pancasila di Perguruan Tinggi

The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts to build the defense of PGSD students through Pancasila Education in Higher Education. The study was carried out in the Department of PGSD Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research with data collection in the form of interviews, observations, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study revealed that students of the Department of PGSD Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta have the conception that the defense of the country is no longer through taking up arms, but can be through their professionalism. Besides, there are some characteristics of students in defending the country, namely, maximizing time as a student with useful activities, loving Indonesia, having morals, excellent skills, and having a national insight. The findings of this study also revealed that Pancasila education in Higher Education became an addendum in providing a basis for students' understanding of Pancasila as the basis of the state.

PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, INSENTIF, DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP LOYALITAS KARYAWAN ADMINISTRATIF KANTOR FAKULTAS DI UNIVERSITAS AHMAD DAHLAN YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, incentives and work environment both partially and jointly on the loyalty of the administrative staff of the Faculty office at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection using a questionnaire method (questionnaire) that has been tested for validity and reliability, while data analysis is done using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample of this study was all administrative employees in all faculties at Ahmad Dahlan University, amounting to 60 employees with sample collection techniques using saturated samples, so the sample size in this study amounted to 60 employees. The results showed that: 1) Leadership has a significant effect on employee loyalty, this is indicated by the results of the t test of 3.123 with a significance of 0.003. 2) Incentives have a negative and significant effect on employee loyalty, this is indicated by the results of t count of -2,378 with a significance of 0.021. 3) The work environment has no effect on employee loyalty. 4) Leadership, incentives and work environment together have a significant effect on employee loyalty, this is indicated by an F count of 3.647 with a significance of 0.0.018 with a regression equation Y = -2.315 + 0.432X1-0.333X2 + 0.099X3 + e. With a large effect of 0.16.3%, while the remaining 83.7% is influenced by other independent variables that are not observed.

ANALISIS PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL PEMIMPIN, KEPUASAN, DAN LINGKUNGAN ORGANISASI TERHADAP LOYALITAS PENGURUS ORGANISASI MAHASISWA FAKULTAS EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS AHMAD DAHLAN

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence leaders, satisfaction, and organizational environment both partially and together towards the loyalty of the management of the Faculty Student Organization Economics of Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta 2014/2015 period. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection with using a questionnaire method (questionnaire) that has been tested for validity and reliability, while data analysis is done using analysis multiple linear regression. The subjects of this research are all organizational management there are 153 students of the Faculty of Economics with engineering sampling using purposive sampling method, so the amount the sample used was 106 administrators. The results showed that: 1) Emotional intelligence of leaders no significant effect on the loyalty of the board. 2) Satisfaction no significant effect on the loyalty of the board. 3) Organizational environment positive and significant effect on the loyalty of the board shown from the results of the t test of 2.163 with a significance of 0.033. 4) Intelligence emotional leaders, satisfaction, and organizational environment together significant effect on the loyalty of the board, this is indicated from the results F test count of 12.273 with a significance of 0,000 and can be written with regression equation Y = -1,431 + 0,126𝑋1 + 0,181𝑋2 + 0,276𝑋 3. With big influence of 26.5%, while the remaining 73.5% is influenced by other independent variables are not observed.

PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA, BUDAYA ORGANISASI, DAN PEMBERIAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT. NASMOCO BAHANA MOTOR BANTUL YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to determine the effect of Employee Engagement, Organizational Commitment, and Transformational Leadership on Readiness for Change in employees of Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. The population in this study were 357 employees of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta University and the sample used was 103 people, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling with sample criteria were permanent employees with a minimum working period of one year and had not moved to campus 4 UAD. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that Employee Engagement has no effect on Readiness for Change at Ahmad Dahlan University employees. Organizational Commitment affects the Readiness for Change of Ahmad Dahlan University employees. Transformational Leadership has no effect on Readiness for Change at Ahmad Dahlan University employees. And employee engagement, organizational commitment, and transformational leadership simultaneously influence the readiness for change in employees of Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta.
