A new spatio-temporal prediction approach based on aggregate queries

The prediction of spatio-temporal data streams which is based on aggregate queries has been an important research direction in the research field of databases. More and more methods have been proposed to obtain approximate aggregate results. However, they will consume a lot of time and storage space. This paper proposes Dynamic Sketch DS index by using modified method of Adaptive Multi-dimensional Histogram AMH* to intelligently partition static sketch which can improve the approximate quality of aggregate queries in road networks. Then, based on DS index, this paper proposes a new prediction approach over data streams in road networks using Self-Adaptive Exponential Smoothing SAES.

Research on Enhanced of Mine-Underground Picture

Because of the based on S3C6410 Field information recorder mine- underground non-uniform illumination and mine- underground non-uniform illumination that a large of noise collected and transferred,image is low contrast ,dim and dark. Based on the theory of Donoho's wavelet threshold denoising, several typical wavelet threshold denoising methods are compared.the best denoising effect of peak signal to noise ratio is obtained. The image enhancement method that combination of the adaptive thresholding denoising and histogram equalization is proposed. The experiment result shows that the method has a good denoising performance, which removed the readout noise of CCD Camera,at the same time, image quality is improved .So the wavelet enhancement in image processing of mine- underground can improve image quality.

FPGA Implementation of Real-Time Adaptive Bidirectional Equalization for Histogram

According to the characteristics of infrared images, a contrast enhancement algorithm was presented. The principium of FPGA-based adaptive bidirectional plateau histogram equalization was given in this paper. The plateau value was obtained by finding local maximum and whole maximum in statistical histogram based on dimensional histogram statistic. Statistical histogram was modified by the plateau value and balanced in gray scale and gray spacing. Test data generated by single frame image, which was simulated by FPGA-based real-time adaptive bidirectional plateau histogram equalization. The simulation results indicates that the precept meet the requests well in both the image processing effects and processing speed

Industrial X-Ray Image Enhancement Algorithm based on AH and MSR

An X-ray image enhancement algorithm based on AH(adaptive histogram) and MSR( Multi-scale Retinex )algorithm is proposed in this paper for the industrial X-ray image, which contrast is low, and the detail features is poor. Firstly, the contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization and neighborhood algorithm is used for the image. Then the mapping is built between the image and the detail scales by the enhance function ratio rules, which is adjusted by the local contracting information. Finally, according the enhance function radios, the reconstructed image is rebuild. Compared with other image enhancement algorithms, experimental results show that our algorithm can improve the global image effectively, moreover it overcomes the visible artifacts of X-ray image. Therefore, the x-ray image becomes clearer, and a better perceptual image is acquired for the image feature recognizing and matching.

Digital contrast enhancement for online portal imaging.

Seven digital contrast enhancement algorithms were implemented and evaluated for application to images obtained with an online video portal imaging system. An objective quantitative comparison shows that superior contrast enhancement is obtained using histogram modification techniques. Additional tests made on an image of a humanoid phantom indicate that local (adaptive) histogram modification methods can produce a better contrast in detail than their global counterparts, if the original image is nonuniform in intensity.
