Edukasi Pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Indonesia untuk Penyakit Degeneratif di Meruyung-Depok

Currently, degenerative diseases have become a problem for every country throughout the world, including Indonesia. The use of medicinal plants in the surrounding area to prevent degenerative diseases is one strategy to improve public health. This Community Service Activity aims to educate the public in recognizing and utilizing medicinal plants to prevent degenerative diseases. This activity was carried out at the UPNVJ Meruyung Housing Complex, Depok. The method used was community education through counseling by providing explanations about degenerative diseases, conducting socialization of types of medicinal plants, their benefits and applications, in addition the level of knowledge of participants was also measured using questionnaires for pre- and post-tests. This activity was attended by the community, especially women at the UPNVJ Meruyung Depok Housing Complex. The results of the activity provided knowledge about degenerative diseases and the use of Indonesian medicinal plants for degenerative diseases. The knowledge and understanding of the community about degenerative diseases and recognizing and utilizing medicinal plants increased significantly (p 0.001) after the activity by 61.36%.

Community Service: The Transformation of Badminton Learning Through Virtual Reality Technology in Elementary Schools

The community service activity aims to introduce 3D Virtual Reality technology as an innovation in badminton learning at SD Negeri 168 Pekanbaru. The activity stages in the implementation of this PkM program consist of several main stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation, and evaluation of the implementation and sustainability of the program. The results of this activity confirm that learning using 3D virtual reality technology has a significant positive impact on improving students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The technology proved effective not only in improving theoretical understanding but also in developing practical skills and building higher motivation. This community service activity has successfully achieved the main objective, which is to increase students' interest and involvement in badminton through the use of 3D Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the aspects of cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills, and affective attitudes of students after participating in this technology-based learning. Nevertheless, the success of this program is also accompanied by challenges, especially the need for teacher training in the use of VR technology to ensure the sustainability of the program in the future

Community service activities carried out at Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe to increase legal awareness regarding the prevention of sexual harassment among students through the Need Assessment method, legal counseling, assistance and evaluation for Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe students. The purpose of this activity is for students to understand the impact and legal consequences of sexual harassment. For this reason, legal counseling and assistance activities were programmed for Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe students with the following results; students are able to understand the prevention of sexual harassment and its impact which can have long-lasting effects on victims and perpetrators.

Peran Alat Pembelajaran Edukatif dalam Peningkatan Akademik di SDN 3 Bluluk Lamongan

Academics include teaching and learning, knowledge, skills and achievements obtained in the field of education. Educational learning tools are a development of educational game tool products (APE). An educational learning tool that aims to improve students' ability to absorb the subjects given at school in order to obtain increased grades in the academic world. SDN III Bluluk Lamongan has the problem of improving the effective teaching process in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning and grades. academics at school. The implementation method used in community service activities this time has 5 stages, the first is the observation method, the second is the introduction method, the third is the learning method, the fourth is the assessment method and the fifth is the sustainability method. The result of the service is an educational learning tool in the form of a modified snakes and ladders game that can improve students' grades and enthusiasm for learning and the role of this educational learning is to help students absorb lessons using a game method that can be played individually or in groups, and can be applied in various subjects.

Strengthening Environmental Awareness in Children Through Drawing Activities

Pondok Yatim and Dhuafa Tomang are located on Jl. Gelong Baru No. 8, Tomang Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, is inhabited by 10 children aged 3-12 years. Currently, no special environmental awareness or art activities are carried out by the children at Pondok Yatim and Dhuafa Tomang. Even though they are interested in the environment and have free time to carry out various activities after formal school ends, one of which is drawing. For this reason, drawing training activities are carried out to increase awareness of the environment through Community Service activities by the Faculty of Art and Design, Universitas Trisakti. This activity aims to help the children Pondok Yatim and Dhuafa Tomang foster. The activity targets are gaining knowledge about the environment, developing drawing skills, and developing creativity. The training was carried out using the participatory action research (PAR) method to obtain primary information from the target audience and to participate actively in implementing the training. The training results are children's drawings on environmental themes with various creative objects and interactions with the surrounding environment as a reflection of the environmental concerns of the children assisted by Pondok Yatim and Dhuafa Tomang. The training activities were carried out well according to the objectives of the training activities.

Training on Making Crispy Chicken to Improve the Economy of Housewives

Crispy fried chicken is a popular fast food item in Indonesia, and it can be made even more appealing by combining spicy flavours with cheese. This modern twist on a classic dish makes it enjoyable for all ages, especially young people. Many housewives in Bobaneigo Madihutu Village who are currently unemployed or underemployed lack a stable income. To address this, we are offering training in crispy chicken preparation to improve the economic opportunities for these women. The training session was held at Campus IV of Khairun University in Bobaneigo Village, Madihutu District, West Halmahera, North Maluku. It was attended by 20 local housewives and Agricultural Faculty students involved in community service activities. Pre- and post-training tests indicated a significant increase in the participants' knowledge about making crispy fried chicken. The feedback from the attendees was highly positive, highlighting the usefulness of the training and the new insights gained into chicken preparation. Overall, the training was well-received and met its objectives effectively

Participatory Journal Management Workshop: a Holistic Approach to Improving Editor Competence for National Accreditation

This community service activity aims to improve the competence of scientific journal editors at Billfath University in meeting national accreditation standards. The method used is an intensive workshop based on a participatory approach, involving technical training, practical simulations, and direct mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the participant's ability to manage journals based on the Open Journal System (OJS), editorial governance, and accreditation achievement strategies. Participants also showed high satisfaction with the relevance and quality of the training provided. The real impact of this activity includes the implementation of more professional journal management, the formation of a community of editors network, and the creation of a more quality publication culture in the academic environment. This service makes an important contribution in supporting the sustainability of the management of credible and competitive scientific journals. Many journal managers in Indonesia lack participatory training programs that combine practical simulations with the formation of an editor community network. The results of the evaluation showed a high level of participant satisfaction, with 90% satisfied with the relevance of the material and 88% stating a significant improvement in journal management skills.

The Psychology of Mindfulness for Pre-Service Teachers Preparation Program

The benefits of mindfulness in adults have been widely researched, and its positive impact on psychology and teacher performance has become a major focus in the field of education. These benefits include stress regulation and reduction, increased compassion, and improved teaching effectiveness. Many studies have highlighted the positive relationship between mindfulness traits and teaching readiness. This study specifically examines the role of prospective teachers' mindfulness traits in their readiness to teach. The theoretical model proposed by Manasia et al. (2019), which includes four key dimensions of teaching, was used to measure the teaching readiness of prospective teachers in three academic programs at the Department of Language Education at a leading state university in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) was employed to measure the mindfulness traits of students as future teachers. The study found that mindfulness traits were able to predict higher teaching readiness in participants. These findings also form the basis for a community service activity, which involves providing mindfulness psychology training during teaching preparation orientation for students as prospective teachers.

KOLABORASI MAHASISWA DAN PT PROXI DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KEAHLIAN KEAMANAN JARINGAN UNTUK MENDUKUNG TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL YANG AMAN

This community service activity aims to improve students competence in network security strategies through collaboration with PT Proxi, an internet service provider company. This training focuses on the use of MikroTik devices and Winbox applications for firewall configuration as an effort to improve network security. Simulations are carried out using a simple topology between MikroTik and laptop devices to implement network filtering with certain rules. The results of this activity show that the firewall configuration is able to block access to unwanted sites or IP addresses, increasing protection against cyber threats. Thus, this activity is expected to not only increase student capacity but also provide benefits to the community in supporting a safer and more sustainable digital transformation.

Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan di Desa Wisata Darubia, Kabupaten Bulukumba

Analysis of Training Needs in Darubia Tourist Village, Bulukumba Regency. Darubia Tourism Village in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, has great tourism potential with its natural beauty and rich local culture. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure and low awareness of the importance of cleanliness pose obstacles to developing tourism in this village. This report documents community service activities aimed at improving the cleanliness management of homestays and diversifying creative economy products. Through surveys and interviews with the local community, a need for training in homestay cleanliness management, hygiene and sanitation, and local product development was identified. The designed training program includes technical guidance on hygiene standards, sanitation management, and enhancing creativity in craft products. The results of this activity are expected to improve the quality of homestay services and the competitiveness of local products, which in turn will support the sustainable development of tourism in Darubia Village.

Pengenalan Game Edukasi Flora dan Fauna untuk Siswa SD Inpres 4 Arborek Raja Ampat

Education in remote areas often encounters challenges such as inadequate infrastructure and limited access to technology, as seen at SD Inpres 4 Arborek, Raja Ampat, West Papua. To address these issues, a technology-based learning medium emphasizing Papua's biodiversity was developed. This interactive digital educational game includes features like a flora and fauna encyclopedia, quizzes, and puzzles designed to enhance students' comprehension of local natural resources. A community service activity conducted on August 21, 2024, engaged 38 students from grades 1 to 6, accompanied by two teachers and the vice principal. The activity employed direct student training and demonstrations to illustrate the game's potential as a learning tool. Students were encouraged to explore the game independently, while teachers observed its integration into daily learning routines. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of this educational medium in enhancing student motivation, engagement, and understanding. The integration of local content within the game also reinforced students' connection to their environment, cultivated cultural pride, and heightened conservation awareness. Challenges with younger students' adaptation to digital tools were mitigated through proper guidance. Questionnaire feedback indicated strong acceptance of the game as a supplementary learning resource and highlighted its potential as a model for implementing educational technology in other remote regions.

Potensi Pemberdayaan Rumah Masyarakat Menjadi Homestay di Desa Pao Kecamatan Tombolopao Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan

Potential Empowerment of Community Houses into Homestays in Pao Village, Tombolopao District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Empowering community houses into homestays will increase the community's economic income. This community service activity aims to assist the community with the benefits that the community will feel if Pao Village becomes a tourist village. Another goal is to find out the potential of community houses for some of the rooms to be rented out as homestays. The method used is observation and interviews with homeowners whose houses have the potential to be used as homestays. The community houses that were observed were houses recommended by the village government that had potential. The results of this assistance show a positive and enthusiastic response from homeowners if their houses become homestays.

The expert system application are developed in line with the existence of information technology. The development of expert systems aims to be a means of assistance to provide solutions in our lives. This expert system can help technicians get solutions quickly and can save time. Expert systems use computer technology to integrate, manipulate and display information or characteristics. Expert systems can also help in making better solutions. With the very rapid technological advances today, an idea or idea has emerged from the author to try to implement one of the expert system application programs into the quality of service activities of computer technicians. The author tries to build an application that will help to facilitate the provision of solutions to computer damage to hardware so that it can make it easier for users or technicians to get solutions quickly. The system to be created is "Designing an Expert System for Diagnosing Computer Problems Using Visual Basic" This system will use the prototype method and tools for modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language). This system is built using the Visual Basic 6.0 application to process the Microsoft Access database.

Kegiatan Penyulaman Pohon Mangrove Guna Mengurangi Erosi Pantai di Pulo Cangkir Desa Kronjo Kecamatan Tangerang Provinsi Banten

The region of Indonesia, composed mainly of oceans, is not unfamiliar to us as we encounter mangrove plants along the coastlines. Many mangrove ecosystems are damaged and have not been replanted due to a lack of socialization and public awareness of the importance of mangroves for the coastal environment, marine ecosystems, and wildlife around the beach. This community service activity aims to inspire and raise public awareness about the role and function of mangroves. Meanwhile, the method used is a descriptive qualitative method where interviews and field studies are conducted directly, along with the implementation of socialization and a question-and-answer session with the community, the Head of the Mangrove Forest Farmers Group, and the community service team. The mangrove farmers' group enthusiastically received the results of this community service, as did the youth leaders and the community in Kronjo Village. In addition to engaging in direct activities such as replanting mangroves, the community service team also participated in socialization activities to ensure the preservation of mangroves. The community ultimately gained knowledge about the roles and functions of mangroves as a result of this community service activity, and they became more enthusiastic about the preservation of mangrove sustainability for the sake of ecosystem and environmental conservation, as well as effectively addressing coastal erosion in Kronjo Village, which is located on Cangkir Island.

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam Penguatan Kemandirian dan Ekonomi Desa Berbasis Potensi Lokal

The community service program in RT.03 RW.02 Semambung Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo aims to empower the community by strengthening village independence and economy. This community service activity focuses on developing local potential, which has made RT the winner of the Mandiri Sejahtera category. Qualitative descriptive methods are applied by collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results include ecoenzyme training, teaching in schools, website creation, location mapping, and creation of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for small businesses. This program shows essential findings related to the active role of village officials and residents in strengthening the local economy. The impact of this program is increasing community capacity in utilizing technology, managing the environment, and developing independent economic businesses.

Sehat Jiwa, Hidup Sejahtera: Psikoedukasi Pengelolaan Stres melalui Afirmasi Positif untuk Masyarakat di Desa Sijantung, Kepulauan Riau

Stress management is the skill to channel stress to avoid feeling depressed in order to balance your emotions. It was found that early adults in Sijantung Village lacked skills in stress management. Therefore, this community service aims to provide education on stress management. This service is carried out using a community-based educational method with various stages, namely: pre-survey, survey, implementation, and evaluation and closing. The location of the implementation of community service was carried out in Sijantung Village, Rempang, Galang. The result of this community service activity is that it has a significant positive impact. Participants showed a better understanding of the importance of mental health, which was previously often overlooked. They also learned to recognize and manage stress effectively through techniques such as writing positive affirmation sentences..

Data from Emergency Medical Service Activities: A Novel Approach to Monitoring COVID-19 and Other Infectious Diseases.

Background: Italy, particularly the northern region of Lombardy, has experienced very high rates of COVID-19 cases and deaths. Several indicators, i.e., the number of new positive cases, deaths and hospitalizations, have been used to monitor virus spread, but all suffer from biases. The aim of this study was to evaluate an alternative data source from Emergency Medical Service (EMS) activities for COVID-19 monitoring. Methods: Calls to the emergency number (112) in Lombardy (years 2015-2022) were studied and their overlap with the COVID-19 pandemic, influenza and official mortality peaks were evaluated. Modeling it as a counting process, a specific cause contribution (i.e., COVID-19 symptoms, the "signal") was identified and enucleated from all other contributions (the "background"), and the latter was subtracted from the total observed number of calls using statistical methods for excess event estimation. Results: A total of 6,094,502 records were analyzed and filtered for respiratory and cardiological symptoms to identify potential COVID-19 patients, yielding 742,852 relevant records. Results show that EMS data mirrored the time series of cases or deaths in Lombardy, with good agreement also being found with seasonal flu outbreaks. Conclusions: This novel approach, combined with a machine learning predictive approach, could be a powerful public health tool to signal the start of disease outbreaks and monitor the spread of infectious diseases.

Tactical assistance to the wounded in the field: normative and practical components of training

The article examines the negative factors that affect the quality of service and combat activities of the security and defense sector, in particular, law enforcement officers and military personnel, who are united by activities to ensure national security, a component of which is public safety, during martial law. Separate ways of improving legislation and the educational process in the field of providing emergency aid to victims and unifying tactical field aid algorithms (TCCC) for representatives of «military» professions in Ukraine have been identified. It is noted that during the state of war in the country, there is a very urgent need to master the actions, their sequence and the volume of providing pre-medical self- and mutual aid in areas of direct and indirect threat and at the stage of evacuation, primarily by the forces of the security and defense sector. The issue of regulatory regulation of the tactics of joint service of various bodies and units during martial law, as well as the unification of training in tactical medicine for its further implementation in service and combat activity, remains important and open. It was concluded that at the level of specialized legislation it is expedient to: explain the concept of «other persons» who are obliged to provide pre-medical assistance, provided for in Part 1 of Art. 12 of the Law of Ukraine «On Emergency Medical Aid», taking into account the specifics of their activities, which will allow more clearly and correctly to regulate the duty of military and law enforcement agencies, in particular, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, representatives of voluntary formations of territorial communities or public formations for the protection of public order and the state border and Territorial Defense Forces regarding the provision of pre-medical assistance to persons in emergency situations both in connection with the use of coercive measures and the obligation for them to undergo training and advanced training; define and regulate at the legislative level international recommendations on the Algorithms of assistance under fire (CUF) and Algorithms of tactical field assistance (TFC) in accordance with the recommendations of the TSSS Committee and unify the training of representatives of the security and defense forces; to develop a certification mechanism and the procedure for involving relevant tactical field assistance instructors (TSSS) in the educational process of representatives of the security and defense.

Realizing Quality Health Services through Ergonomic Re-Design of the Medical Records Room at the Kedungkandang Community Health Center

This community service activity aims to redesign the medical records room at the Kedungkandang Community Health Center by applying ergonomic principles. The main goal of this redesign is to improve the quality of health services by creating a more comfortable and efficient work environment for medical records staff, as well as improving service flow to reduce patient waiting times. The methods used include in-depth interviews with staff, direct observation in the medical records room, and needs analysis based on ergonomic principles. Based on the data collected, various problems were found, such as non-optimal layout and inefficient equipment placement. The result of this activity was a new, more ergonomic design, which included reorganizing the registration counter, improving lighting, and improving ventilation. Although this design has not yet been implemented, the results of the service are expected to increase staff work efficiency and patient satisfaction after implementation. It is also hoped that this design can become a model for other health centers to improve the quality of health services.

Domestikasi Tumbuhan Bemban (Donax Canniformis) Untuk Keberlanjutan Usaha Kerajinan Bili Di Desa Lampanah Tunong, Aceh Besar

The bemban plant (Donax canniformis) has important meaning for the community in Lampanah Tunong Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency. Together with 4 (four) other villages around it, this village has become a center for woven bemban crafts with production products that are typical superior products for Aceh Besar Regency. Apart from supporting the development of the tourism sector and creative industry, this woven bemban craft product has been able to improve the economy and welfare of the local community. The lack of implementation of the concept of sustainable development (sustainable development) has resulted in vulnerability to the continuity of this highly prospective business. The provision of raw materials that completely relies on availability in nature has resulted in the increasingly extinct population of burden plants. The rate of handicraft production which is not commensurate with the ability of natural plant reproduction has caused the community to have to bring in raw materials from outside the village. This of course has an impact on increasing production costs and reducing opportunities for profits. Without systematic and strategic efforts, it is feared that availability from outside the village will also threaten its sustainability. To overcome this, the Service Team offers a concrete solution in the form of domestication efforts by transforming wild bemban plants into cultivated bemban plants through the introduction of cultivation techniques, nurseries and cultivation demonstration plots as well as improving and developing marketing techniques through product diversification and the use of digital marketing. The methods used include: counseling/tutorials and direct practice in the field with stages consisting of: preparation, coordination, implementation, coaching, and trials/evaluation. Through this service activity, it is hoped that the sustainability of the bemban woven craft business will be realized (SDGs 11), increase economic growth (SDGs 8), reduce poverty (SDGs 1) and improve the welfare (SDGs 3) of the community, especially partner craftsmen (SDGs 17).
