Phloretin inhibits the growth of Arabidopsis shoots by inducing chloroplast damage and programmed cell death

Phloretin is a key secondary metabolite produced by apple trees. Known for its strong antioxidant properties, this dihydrochalcone has been extensively studied in animals but less so in plants. Recently, we identified phloretin as a phytotoxic allelochemical that inhibits growth in the model plant Arabidopsis by disrupting auxin metabolism and distribution in the roots. In this study, we found that phloretin significantly hinders the growth of Arabidopsis seedlings' aerial parts after a short-term treatment (10 days) and causes their decay after long-term exposure (28 days). These effects result from ultrastructural damage in the mesophyll cells of the leaves, including chloroplast displacement and swelling, lesions, and alterations in thylakoid and cell wall organization. Interestingly, phloretin-treated plants showed a decrease in malondialdehyde levels and antioxidant enzyme activities, while hydrogen peroxide and proline levels remained unchanged. This suggests that phloretin-induced chlorosis and seedling decay are not due to oxidative stress but rather to severe chloroplast structural damage, leading to inefficient photosynthesis, starch degradation, starvation, and activation of micro- and macroautophagic processes for self-preservation. Ultimately, these processes result in programmed cell death. These new insights into the phytotoxic effects of phloretin on Arabidopsis shoots could pave the way for future research into phloretin as a potential multitarget bioherbicide and enhance our understanding of autoallelopathy in apple trees.

Factors Influencing Interest in Applying for Ultra-Micro Financing for Female UMK Entrepreneurs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the pillars of the Indonesian economy. Its contribution to the national economy is enormous. This sector is known to be the largest provider of employment opportunities and an important player in local economic development. To develop a business, capital and good management are needed, but there is still a lot of capital that has not been touched by bank financial institutions. Microfinance Institutions (LKM) in Indonesia are financial institutions whose function is to help the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to progress further. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence interest in applying for ultra-micro financing for female micro-small entrepreneurs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods with primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through a questionnaire survey of female micro business actors who received financing from Mekar Madani, Gramindo and Amartha with a sample of 60 people taken purposively. Research results using a regression model. The t test and f test show that accessibility, interest rates and economic needs have a positive effect on interest in applying for ultramicro financing with an R value of 0.315, 0.279 and 0.390 respectively and a significance value of <0.05 based on the simultaneous test (f test), variables of accessibility, interest rates and economic needs together have a positive influence on the increasing interest of female MSEs in applying for ultramicro financing with an R value of 0.526 and a significance value of <0.05.

DIGITALISASI UMKM : UPAYA PENINGKATAN USAHA MIKRO KECIL MENENGAH DESA WINDUSARI

In the industrial era 5.0, technology is developing rapidly throughout all levels of society. The benefits of technology can already be felt in everyday life. Such as the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in running their businesses they have digitized by marketing online. The aim of this research is to examine further the impact of digital marketing on increasing the sales volume of MSMEs in Windusari Village. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative using a triangulation model, namely a mixed method of interviewing and observing MSMEs actors. The results of this research indicate that digital marketing has not been fully utilized optimally by MSMEs in Windusari Village. This is because most of the business actors in Windusari Village are elderly mothers for whom technology has not been well absorbed. Even though its use is not yet optimal, digital marketing can make it easier for MSMEs to provide information and interact directly with consumers, expand market share and increase sales volume for MSMEs in Windusari Village.

Digital literacy refers to a person's ability to use, understand, and participate in the digital environment effectively. The development of information technology has changed the scope of the marketing world in recent years. Marketing communication methods that were previously traditional and conventional have now been integrated into the digital world. Digital marketing has become one of the media that is often used by business people because of the new ability of consumers to follow the flow of digitalization, several companies are gradually starting to abandon conventional marketing models and switch to modern marketing.The development of information technology is growing rapidly. Some activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) utilize information technology to run their business. One of them is the MSME Anak Rantau Iced Tea. Through the community service team, training on digital marketing was carried out as an effort to develop the Iced Tea Children of Rantau MSMEs The results of this activity showed that business actors participated in the training activities carefully. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the actors in understanding marketing digitalization

Post-Synthetically Treated ERI and SSZ-13 Zeolites Modified with Copper as Catalysts for NH3-SCR-DeNOx

ERI and SSZ-13 were subjected to post-synthetic treatments (depending on the zeolite topology) to create micro-/mesoporous materials. The results in terms of NH3-SCR-DeNOx show that the applied treatments improved the catalytic activity of the Cu-containing ERI-based materials; however, the NO conversion did not vary for the different materials treated with NaOH or NaOH/HNO3. For the micro-/mesoporous Cu-containing SSZ-13, a lower NO conversion in NH3-SCR-DeNOx was observed. Thus, our findings challenge the current paradigm of enhanced activity of micro-/mesoporous catalysts in NH3-SCR-DeNOx. The modification of the supports results in the presence of different amounts and kinds of copper species (especially isolated Cu2+ and aggregated Cu species) in the case of ERI- and SSZ-13-based samples. The present copper species further differentiate the formation of reactive reaction intermediates. Our studies show that besides the μ-η2,η2-peroxo dicopper(II) complexes (verified by in situ DR UV-Vis spectroscopy), copper nitrates (evidenced by in situ FT-IR spectroscopy) also act as reactive intermediates in these catalytic systems.

Today's people's lives cannot be separated from the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSME activity is a form of business that plays an important role in the development and growth of the economy in Indonesia. Technological developments and increasing business competition make micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) must have good initial marketing to be able to compete with other competitors. Utilizing internet marketing technological innovations in the form of digital marketing or internet marketing is a paradigm that needs to be understood, especially in today's business world. The purpose of this research is to provide innovation for the community in building a more modern business for MSME businesses, especially Sakinah cakes as an increase in sales turnover. The implementation method is carried out using several stages, namely 1) problem identification, 2) output and 3) conducting training and developing new innovations. The result of this activity is the product innovation of Sakinah cake which has packaging and branding. This activity is expected to make MSMEs develop and improve their marketing methods using digital marketing.

Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Berbasis Collaborative Governance di Desa Pananrang Kecamatan Mattiro Bulu

This thesis examines the activities of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in conducting business, the challenges faced by MSMEs in business development, and the forms of collaborative governance implemented in MSMEs in Pananrang Village. This is based on the decline in MSME development and the importance of collaborative governance in MSME development. The main issues in this research are (1) How do MSME actors conduct business? (2) What challenges did MSMEs face in developing their businesses? (3) How was collaborative governance implemented in MSMEs in Pananrang Village?The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data sources are MSME actors and the Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency, as well as the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency. Data collection tools include interview guidelines, and data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is tested using triangulation techniques.Research findings: (1) MSME actors in Pananrang Village are classified as micro-businesses with a maximum income of Rp200,000,000 per year. In Pananrang Village, there were 47 businesses, but only 4 types of businesses were based on collaborative governance. (2) The challenges faced by MSME actors in developing their businesses included: (a) Quantity and quality of Human Resources (HR) were insufficient, (b) Limited technology and lack of innovation in products, (c) Marketing management did not meet operational standards and lacked business partners, and (d) Lack of capital for business development. (3) Collaborative governance was carried out by the Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency through programs such as (a) Coaching, providing material on how to develop a business, (b) Assistance in finding business partners for MSMEs, (c) Financial assistance, providing capital for business development, and (d) Creating a business climate, providing quick and free business permits for MSMEs. Meanwhile, the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency had the Close Relations program, which included one-day seminars on business development and financial support for MSMEs in Pinrang Regency. The analysis results showed business development for MSMEs for those who followed collaborative governance procedures. Women's Participation in Productive Business Development through the Modeling of Baitul Māl Wa at-Tamwīl in Palembang

This study is motivated by the fact that women's efforts to participate in developing productive businesses do not yet have the right model so that their activities appear to be just a side job. Meanwhile, women's productivity in the micro economy in the new normal era will have a positive impact on strengthening the home economy, as well as restoring the activities of micro businesses that have gone bankrupt as a result of the pandemic. The presence of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil with the financing assistance model and financial management literacy of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil makes the administration process easier and more synergistic. The data used for this article comes from qualitative research, using interviews and relevant literature. The respondents of this research are Palembang gender activist academics, BMT administrators, business actors in areas with a majority of women who carry out productive business development in Palembang. interviews using the snowball sampling method. The research results showed that women's participation in productive business development after a long period in the domestic sphere due to the COVID-19 pandemic has become more varied and provides additional benefits for the family economy. The presence of BMT helps women's productive businesses, providing administrative convenience for obtaining financing and changing the home management model to family management established by BMT. This research then found that after a long period of time women were in the domestic sphere due to the regulations during the Covid-19 Pandemic, their product activity patterns changed to profitable home businesses. Furthermore, the management model used by BMT is more accepted and supported by Palembang women who are developing their businesses.

Synergism of Scientific Teams in the Reflection of Scientometrics

The purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the criteria for synergistic interaction of employees within the research team. The object of research is the scientific activity of micro–collectives (department collectives), the subject of research is the success of cooperation within collectives. Scientific cooperation is an important factor in increasing the success (efficiency) of research activities and obtaining high-quality scientific results. Efficiency of any activity, including research activity, is increased by means of synergistic interaction (the results of which can be presented as 1 + 1> 2). The authors consider synergistic interaction as a way of performing research activities by scientific teams based on cooperation as a factor in obtainingresults impossible without this interaction. The parameters reflecting the synergism of the research activities of scientific teams are its criteria as the subject of the specified activity (first of all, organizational readiness). Taking into account these parameters, the analysis of research activity results (reflected in publication activity and citation rate) achieved by academic researchers from higher educational institutions of the Krasnodar Territory (one of the federal subjects of Russia) is performed. The authors present their models and methods for the assessment of synergistic interaction within scientific teams. Primary mathematical modelsbased on set theory are proposed for the scientific team and its activities. Some difficulties in assessing the synergism of scientific teams – the impossibility to accurately assess the rating of scientific publications, malfunction of automated scientometric databases, problems with identifying the specific contribution of each author’s specific contribution, faked scientific activity, retraction of publications – are noted. Methodological foundations of the research: synergetic approach (considers scientific cooperation as a synergistic process leading to an increase in the effectiveness of research activities), systematic approach (considers the diagnosis of scientific cooperation as an integral component of monitoring research activities), sociological approach (considers the research team as a social system and environment for a researcher), qualimetric approach (proclaims the need for multi-criteria diagnostics of synergistic interaction within a research team) and probabilistic-statistical approach (considers the diagnosis of scientific cooperation as a statistical measurement based on the processing of primary information). Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, modeling, methods of set theory and graphs, methods of qualimetry, methods of mathematical statistics, including the method of rocky scree, on the basis of which the well-known Hirsch index iscalculated, methods of linear algebra.

CONTEXTUALIZAÇÃO DA LEI GERAL DE PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS PARA OS PEQUENOS NEGÓCIOS

The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) aims to bring greater transparency and responsibility to the use of personal data of individuals and legal entities throughout the national territory. With the advent of the Law, the processing of data that was carried out in an uncontrolled way is now regulated and with specific purposes, uniting Brazilian legislation with the global concept of data privacy. Within the scope of the business activity of micro and small companies (MSEs), compliance with the Law can be quite challenging, considering that the planned measures can generate such high costs that these companies need to paralyze their activities. Therefore, the objective of this study is to report on the challenges for the application of the Law in Brazil, with a focus on flexibility for small companies, a sector that has the greatest difficulty in adapting to the norms. And emphasize how the implementation of the Law within organizations can bring opportunities for growth, since the ethical use of data linked to a culture of good practices can increase trust between companies and customers.

Application of Quality Control using Six Sigma and Taguchi Method on UMKM Kerupuk Tahu Bangil in Pandemic Period (Case Study: UD. Sanusi)

The products produced are tofu crackers which are marketed and productive economic efforts carried out by one of the people in the Bangil area whose place is on Jl. Gen. Sudirman. diet. Pogar. district. Bangil. Pasuruan. East Java 67153. Activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Tofu Crackers UD Sanusi is one way for creative products to be known among the public. With the obstacles experienced by UD Sanusi's MSMEs during the pandemic, namely there were problems regarding the quality of defective products from tofu crackers during production, namely tofu crackers that were charred, tough, easily crushed, and the size of the crackers was different. Limited human resources are also one of the serious obstacles for SMEs, which are needed to maintain or improve product quality, increase efficiency and productivity in production.With these challenges, it is necessary to make systematic efforts through quality improvement, using the method used in research for quality improvement, namely six sigma, to determine the factors that affect product defects and the Taguchi method to improve the quality of the product.From the results obtained in the analysis of the hypothesis, it is known that the combination of factors that have a significant effect on the average and quality variance of tofu crackers is the same, namely flour at level 1 of 95 kg, flavoring at level 1 of 85 kg, kneading at level 1 of about 15 minutes, and drying at level 3 about 4 hours. Thus, the optimal combination of factors proved to be able to increase the average and quality variability of tofu crackers.

The Role Of Digital Marketing For Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises In The Era Of The Asean Economic Community

Today's technology continues to grow and users begin to feel the benefits of using the internet. Some feel dependence on the presence of the Internet, including the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using information technology in their business, especially in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The purpose of this study is to describe in general the impact of digital marketing on SME sales in Batam City. This research is qualitative in nature and uses a triangular model that combines structured interview methods, in-depth interviews and observations of MSMEs participants who actively participate in Market Community Improvement Services – Cooperatives and SMEs in the City. From the results of the study it can be seen that digital marketing facilitates communication and direct interaction between MSME players and consumers, increasing market share, increasing the visibility of MSME players and increasing sales.

Features of the implementation of settlement transactions registrars in Ukraine: accounting and financial aspects

The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of the implementation of settlement transaction registrars in the activities of micro and small businesses, taking into account accounting and financial aspects. The purpose of the article is to study the problematic aspects of the implementation of settlement transaction registrars by individual entrepreneurs in the context of the fight against the shadow economy and the need to increase tax revenues to the budgets of various levels during martial law. Research methods. Empirical research methods are used in the article, which are based on a sociological survey of natural persons-entrepreneurs who are in the second-fourth group of the simplified taxation system for the purpose of determining the problems related to the introduction of PRO/PRRO in business activities; methods of systematization and grouping - for systematization of survey results; methods of generalization and abstraction - for formulating conclusions based on research results. Research results. On the basis of the analysis of the legal requirements for the introduction of the PRO/PRRO and taking into account the results of the conducted sociological survey of individual entrepreneurs, the article proves that one of the main problems of the hostile attitude towards the requirements for the implementation of the PRO/PRRO is the lack of a sufficient level of accounting and digital education, low the level of public trust in the authorities and tax authorities, mental models and reluctance to disclose real business turnover. In order to ensure the mass use of PRO/PRRO to increase the level of income of budgets of various levels and improve the efficiency of business processes, the article proposes to develop special training courses for entrepreneurs on the Diya portal, as well as to increase fines for violations of the use of PRO/PRRO to such a level that would make unfavorable non-payment of a single tax. In the case of establishing the PRO/PRRO and its stable use, the revenues of local budgets from the single tax will be able to increase by UAH 10-15 billion.

Application of a digital marketing system in the development of Batik Sari Kenongo MSMEs in Sari Rogo Village

Covid-19 has an impact on the activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sari Rogo Village, Sidoarjo District, Sidorajo Regency. MSMEs have existed in this village for a long time, particularly the well-known Batik Sari Kenongo product. The development of SMEs Batik Sari Kenongo had ceased following the Covid-19 pandemic. The traditional marketing system was responsible for the suspension of UMKM Batik Sari Kenongo's development and the rapid decline in sales. To increase sales, developing Batik Sari Kenongo products through digital media requires training and assistance. The method used in this program is training and assistance in making digital media to promote the products. As a result of this program, partners capable of putting digital media marketing strategies into practice, enabling a larger and better-informed public to access information about Sari Kenongo batik.

Improved visible-light-driven activity of micro graphite/BiOI nanocomposite for effective removal of xanthate from wastewater

The visible light responsive micro-powder graphite (Mic-g)/BiOI nanocomposite was prepared by hydrothermal method to effectively remove the xanthate residue in sulfide ore flotation wastewater. The effects of different weight ratios of graphite in composites on photocatalytic activity were investigated. Under visible light, the 5wt% Mic-g/BiOI composite exhibited the highest degradation efficiency (94.36%) and the largest rate constant (0.02273 min−1) which was about 4.3 times higher than that of pure BiOI. The enhanced photocatalytic activity was mainly due to the synergy of a good contact interface between BiOI and graphite with good conduction resulting in the carriers’ rapid transfer. In addition, the mechanism of enhanced photocatalytic activity during the reaction was also investigated. The free radical trapping experiment demonstrated that the main active species in the photocatalytic process are •OH. This work provides a simple and effective approach to synthesizing the visible-light-driven photocatalyst with high efficiency for xanthate wastewater treatment.

The studies of the catalytic activity of micro- and mesoporous MOF structures are described.

Socially Responsible Activity of Micro-, Small-, and Medium-Sized Enterprises—Benefits for the Enterprise

As a research hypothesis, it was assumed that micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprise SMEs undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mainly guided by the benefits obtainable from this activity. The aim of the study was to identify the achievable and achieved benefits of undertaking CSR by SME enterprises. SMEs are not obliged to report this activity. The exploration included literature studies and empirical research, according to the expert method, in three stages: (1) selection of experts, (2) collection of information using the CAWI and CATI method, (3) development and interpretation of research results. Research has indicated that CSR is becoming closer to SMEs. The research has shown that experts are implementing CSR and gaining benefits from it. It has also shown that experts’ knowledge of CSR is insufficient, which results in many opportunities resulting from the implementation of this activity being overlooked. The European Commission (EC) guidelines introduced an obligation of reporting CSR only for listed companies; indirectly, this obligation will also affect other companies. Voluntary reporting will increase the knowledge of CSR and bring many benefits to SMEs, provided that a legal framework is created to facilitate the implementation of CSR and its reporting.

Pengaruh Sistem Pengendalian Internal dan Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia terhadap Kualitas Laporan Keuangan UMKM di Kabupaten Lombok Barat

This study aims to examine the effect of internal control systems and human resource competencies on the quality of financial reports for micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in West Lombok Regency. The type of research used is associative because it examines the causal variables of independent and related variables. The research variables consist of the internal control system and the competence of human resources as independent variables and the quality of financial reports as the dependent variable. The research was conducted in West Lombok Regency using a survey sample method with a total of 135 respondents of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) with a purposive sampling approach. Analysis of the research using test instruments in the form of validity testing with the Pearson product moment method and reliability testing with Croncbach's alpha. The feasibility test of the model uses classical assumption tests such as normality test, heteroscedasticity test and multicollinearity test. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test for partial test and F test for simultaneous test. The results of the partial hypothesis test show that the internal control system and human resource competence on the quality of financial reports. In the simultaneous hypothesis test, the two independent variables affect the quality of financial statements. The limitation of this research is that the understanding of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) related to the internal control system and competence of human resources in preparing financial reports is still low because most of the micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM), both non-formal and formal, still associate the operational activities of micro, small and medium enterprises with owner's personal activities.
