Exploring the Implementation of “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” in Indonesian Islamic Universities

“Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) is an Indonesian government program launched to improve students’ skills and competencies, both hard and soft skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation strategy of the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) program in Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and a multi-case study method, this study examines the implementation of MBKM in Islamic religious colleges in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using multi-case analysis techniques, starting from single case analysis/individual case and continuing with cross-case analysis/cross-case analysis. After being analyzed, data validity was checked through the degree of certainty, transferability, and trustworthiness. The results of this study indicate that implementing MBKM in PTKI uses a curriculum overhaul and adaptation strategy. The curriculum overhaul is implemented through learning innovation programs, collaboration, learning opportunities, eight program learning opportunities, character education, and curriculum models. Implementing curriculum adaptation is carried out through the ease of opening new study programs, study program accreditation, and the right to study outside the program for three semesters. The MBKM program is evaluated internally through internal quality audits and externally through national and international accreditation.

Intelligent classification and performance prediction of multi-text assessment with recurrent neural networks-long short-term memory

<p>The assessment document at the time of study program accreditation shows performance achievements that will have an impact on the development of the study program in the future. The description in the assessment document contains unstructured data, making it difficult to identify target indicators. Apart from that, the number of Indonesian-based assessment documents is quite large, and there has been no research on these assessment documents. Therefore, this research aims to classify and predict target indicator categories into 4 categories: deficient, enough, good, and very. Learning testing of the Indonesian language assessment sentence classification model using recurrent neural networks-long short-term memory (RNN-LSTM) using 5 layers and 3 parameters produces performance with an accuracy value of 94.24% and a loss of 10%. In the evaluation with the Adamax optimizer, it had a high level of accuracy, namely 79%, followed by stochastic gradient descent (SGD) of 78%. For the Adam optimizer, Adadelta, and root mean squared propagation (RMSProp) have an accuracy rate of 77%.</p>

Enhancing Study Program Accreditation Scores at Islamic University: Developing the Puladasa Data Service Center in Alignment With BAN-PT Version 9 Criteria

This research focuses on the development of the Integrated Data Service Center (PULADASA), a data center used in the accreditation process for study programs. It aims to increase accreditation value in areas like Vision, Mission, Goals, Strategy, Governance, Student Affairs, Human Resources, Finance, Facilities, Education, Research, Community Service, and Achievement. Expert assessment by 2 media experts, namely Material Experts, and assessment by 17 study programs as users. This Integrated Data Service Center (PULADASA) service, as well as knowing user responses to the Integrated Data Service Center (PULADASA) that has been developed. This research is research and development (RD). Data analysis in this study used quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quality variables are arranged based on display aspects, programming aspects, media completeness aspects, language, implementation, and ease of operation. Student response variables to learning media are arranged based on a grid, namely: navigation structure, appearance, and language. Based on the assessment by 2 experts on the One-Stop Data Service Center (PULADASA), it received a score of 87.6 from the ideal maximum score of 120, so it is included in the good category (B) with an ideal percentage of 80%. The assessment by 17 study programs showed students scored 102.5 out of 120, indicating a very good category (SB) with an ideal percentage of 85.5%. The one-stop data service center (PULADASA) can assist in accreditation processes with nine standards, with a user response score of 859.

The Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning Informatics Department Education Laboratory

In preparing for the accreditation of units, study programs, and tertiary institutions to achieve a superior rating, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) often faces challenges in gathering and accessing the necessary resources. These difficulties stem from the accreditation preparation process, ineffective resource management, a lack of data integration, and restricted resource access. Taking advantage of advancements in information technology, UAJY has adopted the ERP Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to effectively manage the resources within its educational laboratories. These laboratories serve as a vital support unit in fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and play a significant role in enhancing the learning process at the university. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a strategic tool that can provide organizations with a competitive edge by synchronizing, integrating, and optimizing data. The implementation of ERP LIMS serves as a solution for better resource management within the UAJY Informatics Department's educational laboratories.

Analysis of Decision Making Factors for New Students Choosing a Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Pamulang University

The background of the research to analyze the decision-making factors for new students to choose the Accounting Study Undergraduate Program, Pamulang University which can be a reference for management formulating strategies in the vew student admission process. The research aims to determine the influence of education costs, study program accreditation, educational facilities, and study program prospects on student decision making in choosing an Accounting Study Undergraduate Program, Pamulang University, partially or simultaneously. This research is causal associative research with a quantitative approach. The variables of this research are education costs, study program accreditation, educational facilities, study program prospects and student decisions. The sample population for this research is new students from the Accounting Study Undergraduate Program, Pamulang University, odd semester 2023-2024, totaling 1840 students. Because the student population is too large, the sample taken in this research used the Accidental Sampling technique with 136 respondents being the research sample. The data analysis method in this research is to use a research scale and measure variables using SPSS tools by carrying out several tests including validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear analysis test, F test, T hypothesis test (t-test), and R-Square test (R<sup>2</sup>).

The design of a decision-making information system in determining student preference for state Universities (PTN), Private Universities (PTS), or Public Universities (PTK) using the WEB -based MFEP (Multifactir Evaluation Process) method aims to determine student preferences for universities based on the factors that have been provided, namely: Cost, Prestigious, Campus Accreditation, Study Program Accreditation, Job Opportunities and Location. The Utilization of the internet by creating a website with the help oh the PHP programming language and MySQL as data storage is expected to facilitate student in making decision.

Perspective of Decision Making Based on Factor Analysis in Choosing A College (Case Study at University of Nias)

This research is a survey study with a descriptive approach. The population consists of students at University of Nias. The sampling technique is random sampling, conducted on 185 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire and Likert scale for each statement. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis and t-test with the assistance of SPSS 24. The research results indicate that: out of 30 factors considered by students in choosing a place for study, 16 factors form 2 variables. The Main Variable consists of P1 Type of University, P2 University Status (Public/Private), P4 Accreditation of Study Program (Department), P5 Tuition Fees, P6 Scholarships, P7 Quality/Profile of Lecturers, P8 Service of Educational Personnel (Staff). The Supporting Variable includes P12 Student Activity Units / Student Organizations, P13 Campus Location, P14 Campus Work Partnerships, P15 University Entrance Exams, P16 Campus Brochures/Promotion, P17 Transportation Access, P18 Residential Access (Boarding House), P19 Classification of Regular and Special Classes, and finally, P20 Degree and Professionalism of Graduates.

Pedagogical approaches in modern geodesy and integrating earth measurement techniques into STEM education

Relevance. In the context of an increasingly dynamic and interconnected world, the integration of geodesy into STEM education has emerged as a crucial domain for nurturing a comprehensive understanding of Earth�s intricate spatial dynamics. Purpose. The purpose of this research is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of pedagogical approaches in modern geodesy and to investigate the process of integrating advanced land surveying methods into the educational structure of Kosovo. Methodology. The study utilizes content analysis, functional and historical approaches, induction, and comparative analysis to examine Kosovo's higher geodesical education, focusing on the University of Prishtina's Geodesy Department from 2003 to 2023. Results. This study highlighted the significance of cultivating a robust geospatial skill set among students to address pressing global challenges and promote sustainable development. This research highlighted the key role of innovative learning strategies and experimental learning methods in improving the landscape of geodesy education. This paper offered a blueprint for designing an inclusive and dynamic curriculum that fostered a profound understanding of geospatial concepts while fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Conclusions. The research presents the changes in the Department of Geodesy over the years, both in terms of study program accreditation and curriculum adjustments to align with labor market needs. It also highlights the department's participation in European Union projects, which has significantly elevated the quality of education. DETERMINING STUDENT GRADUATION BASED ON SCHOOL LOCATION USING GEOGRAPHICALLY WEIGHTED LOGISTIC REGRESSION

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) is one of the Faculties in Tanjungpura University with 9 Undergraduate Programs (S1). Based on the graduation data of the 2014 batch of FMIPA students, the number of students who did not complete their studies was 131 students or 29% of the total 445 students and 187 schools in Indonesia. If the study period of students can be predicted early, the study program can provide advice or recommendations so that students can complete their studies in/exactly 8 semesters. This study aims to determine the model for analyzing the factors that influence the graduation of FMIPA students using GWLR. Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression (GWLR) is a developing logistic regression model applied to spatial data. This model is used to predict data with binary dependent variables that consider the location characteristics of each observation. The units of observation in this study are the school location of 455 students spread across Indonesia. The variables used in this study were sourced from the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau UNTAN and divided into dependent variables (Y) and independent variables (X), i.e. Gender, college selection, Accreditation, School Type, School Location, and Name of Study Program. The dependent variable analyzed is the graduated status of FMIPA UNTAN students, i.e. completed and not completed their studies. The results showed that gender and the name of the study program are factors that affect the graduation of FMIPA UNTAN 2014 students with a classification accuracy of 72.6%.

Self-evaluation: aviation fire and rescue study program in improving quality

<span lang="EN-US">This research was conducted as a first step in improving the quality of the Aviation Fire and Rescue Study Program of Palembang Aviation Polytechnic in evaluating itself to obtain information and recommendations for descriptions of each assessment criteria that need to be considered to determine the feasibility of the Study Program based on the criteria that refer to the National Higher Education Standards. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, in which the researcher explores the criteria of the Aviation Fire and Rescue Study Program of the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic then looks at suggestions and recommendations to see whether these conditions or criteria have met the Study Program Accreditation based on criteria that refer to the National Standard. Higher education. The results showed that the Aviation Fire and Rescue Study Program of Palembang Aviation Polytechnic got a score of 246.72. The description of the assessment based on the data and information of the Aviation Fire and Rescue Study Program of Palembang Aviation Polytechnic reaches the Good criteria, it needs more effort that must be improved and get attention to be able to go to the Very Good criteria and towards Excellence.</span>

Comparison of Different Classification Techniques to Predict Student Graduation

Every year, the number of students accepted at the Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang continues to increase. Still, not all students can graduate on time according to the specified study period, resulting in a buildup of students who have not graduated according to their graduation period. One of the aspects evaluated in the Study Program accreditation process is the student graduation rate. Apart from that, for each semester, Study Programs are also required to report educational data to DIKTI, and student graduation is one of the factors considered in the report. There is an imbalance between the number of students graduating each year and the number of new students accepted. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to predict student graduation to determine whether they will graduate on time. In science and data analysis, predictions are often used to make predictions based on existing data and information. Classification models in predicting student graduation include the Nave Bayes method, Support Vector Machine SVM, and Random Forest, as well as the level of accuracy of these three methods. From the results of experiments and model evaluations carried out, with data from 458 Informatics Engineering Study Program students with details of 366 training data and 92 testing data, it was obtained that the SVM model had the highest accuracy, reaching around 87% and Random Forest also had good accuracy, around 82%. At the same time, the Naïve Bayes model has lower accuracy, around 76%.

Spirituality-based environmental literacy among prospective biology teacher in Indonesia: Analysis based on gender, accreditation, and semester-level aspects

Spirituality-based environmental literacy (SEL) influences ecological knowledge, environmental expectations, cognitive abilities, and environmental-related behavior. In this regard, this research aims to determine SEL among prospective biology teacher throughout Indonesia. This study included a cross-sectional survey. The target respondents are students of education study programs in the field of biology who come from various institutions in Indonesia. Gender aspects, study program accreditation status, and semester-level are positioned as respondent characteristics whose impact on environmental literacy is analyzed. The sample size is 632 students. The data collection instrument used was the ELIS. The data collection process is carried out online. Data was analyzed using SPSS. We discuss the results of different tests based on gender, different tests based on accreditation, and different tests based on semester-level. This research provides unique results. Women have higher levels of SEL than men. There are significant differences between men and women in terms of environmental literacy, although references do not always support this. Accreditation status does not support differences in SEL levels. Furthermore, the semester-level (final semester) has a higher SEL, but that is only in the knowledge aspect. On that basis, we suggest several aspects to consider in future research.

The Role of Lecturers and Support of Educational Personnel and Student Understanding of Program Governance the Study Will Improve the Quality of the Study Program Services

The role of lecturers and support from educational staff as well as student understanding in improving study program services. The location of the activity is in the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Bhayangkara University. The research method used is a quantitative method with a cause and effect relationship approach with a sample of respondents from 3 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. The sampling technique uses Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling so that it can be used proportionally according to groups or strata of the population or respondents. Analysis of the role of lecturers and support from educational staff as well as students' understanding of study program governance can improve the quality of study program services and have an impact on increasing accreditation scores. Research regarding the role of 3 (three) independent variables as discussion material is still rarely discussed in Study Program Governance. So it is necessary to consider whether students' understanding of the existence of study program services can improve the quality of study program services and will have an impact on increasing the value of study program accreditation.

Dampak Belanja Bantuan Operasional Perguruan Tinggi Negeri, Rupiah Murni dan Penerimaan Negara Bukan Pajak Terhadap Akreditasi Program Studi

Accreditation of current study programs as part of the quality of education, on the one hand, the higher education budget being disbursed by the government is getting bigger. The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of State University Operational Assistance spending, Pure Rupiah spending and Non-Tax State Revenue spending on the Accreditation of State University A/Excellent Study Programs in Indonesia. This research is a causal research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are State Universities under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data used is secondary data in the form of performance reports. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression. The results of the study show that in terms of State University Operational Assistance Expenditures, Pure Rupiah Expenditures and Non-Tax State Revenue Expenditure simultaneously affect Study Program Accreditation. Partially, State University Operational Assistance Expenditures have a positive and insignificant effect on State University A/Excellent Study Program Accreditation. Pure Rupiah spending has a positive and significant effect on Accreditation of A/Excellent Study Programs in State Universities. Expenditures of Non-Tax State Revenue have a negative and significant effect on the Accreditation of State Higher Education A/Excellent Study Programs

Pendampingan Tracer Study: Pembuatan Website dan Pengolahan Data

Tracer study and user survey are two instruments used to obtain data related to alumni when they are graduated, during the transition period, and the time when tracking is filled. The data is not only to get an overview of the condition of alumni and response from their supervisor, it is also used to provide data on accreditation needs at both BAN PT and LAMs. This activity aims to maximize the implementation of tracer studies based on criteria from BAN PT, and also provide a tracer study website to facilitate data processing. To solve this problem, there were 2 main activities carried out, namely assistance in making a tracer study website which was carried out for 1 month, and training in analyzing data. The first result of this activity was the availability of a website tracer study which has accommodated partner’s tracer study needs, and increased knowledge related to tracer study implementation standards to maximize value in study program accreditation. Secondly, A tracer study website has been created and can help provide supporting data and analysis of tracer study data.

Prediction of the Number of Graduates Absorption by the Field of Expertise

The study program accreditation process also includes reporting forms filled in with the number of graduates working according to their field of expertise. A low conformity rate will indicate a lack of training and skills for graduates. If the conformity rate is high, it will affect the results of accreditation to increase and make the level of public trust in the study program higher, as well as from the perspective of graduate staff users. The study program needs to know the data of its graduates earlier as a step to increase the compatibility rate of the field of work with the field of lectures for its graduates. These problems can be minimized by carrying out a prediction process on the suitability of graduate fields. The variable used to predict is a data series of the number of graduates working in the right field over a certain period of time. The use of linear regression for predictions in the case of determining the exact field really helps make it easier for study programs to help predict the number of students who graduate by working in the right field. This study uses a linear regression method.

PREDIKSI KELULUSAN MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI MATEMATIKA UNIVERSITAS UDAYANA MENGGUNAKAN BACKPROPAGATION NEURAL NETWORK

Based on the rules of the BAN-PT Study Program Accreditation Instrument 4.0 (IAPS 4.0), one of the study program accreditation assessment indicators is the percentage of students who graduate on time. The percentage of Udayana University Mathematics Study Program students who graduated on time during the graduation period from 2002 to 2019 was 52.5%. It can be seen that many students fail to complete their studies on time, which has an impact on the study program accreditation assessment. Based on these problems, this study aims to help academics increase the percentage of Udayana University Mathematics Study Program graduates by predicting the graduation of mathematics study program students using the backpropagation neural network method. This study uses data on alumni of students of the 2002-2017 mathematics study program. With the BNN 5-3-1 architecture, the predicted results of graduation for students of the Udayana University mathematics study program are 73%.

Determinants of Competitive Advantage of A and Excelled Accreditation Study Programs at Private Universities: A Concept Analysis with Mediation of Performance

The purpose of this study is to examine the link between the determinants of competitive advantage and competitive advantage itself at private institutions by mediating the performance of A and Excelled accredited study programs. This study employs a qualitative approach to study which comprises a literature review. With data gathered from documents relating to competitive advantage, the factors of competitive advantage, and the success of A and Excelled accredited study programs at private institutions. This study discovered that study program performance has a significant positive impact on competitive advantage and can mediate the link between study program accreditation, university reputation, graduate quality, and lecturer quality, as well as competitive advantage. As a result, efforts must be made to improve the performance of study programs by developing curriculum that is in line with industry needs, improving the quality of graduates and lecturers, and increasing the accreditation of study programs and the reputation of higher education institutions as a whole to increase competitive advantage in study programs that have A or Excelled accreditation at a private university.

THE ROLE OF RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND ARCHIVES IN ACHIEVING STUDY PROGRAM ACCREDITATION

Effective management of records and archives plays a crucial role in the successful accreditation of study programs. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of efficient record management and orderly archive management on the availability of information to support the accreditation process of study programs, and to explore the factors that influence the achievement of success and the obstacles encountered during accreditation from an archival perspective. This research utilized a descriptive qualitative approach and data were gathered through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The Bachelor of Management Study Program attained an A accreditation score, indicating a well-prepared process that encompassed the collection of physical evidence, the availability of documents/archives, the completion of accreditation forms, and the implementation of records and archives management. Leadership commitment, data completeness, and a competent accreditation team were identified as key success factors for accreditation. Nevertheless, some obstacles were encountered during the implementation of accreditation, such as poorly managed digital data, a lack of commitment to the importance of accreditation among some employees, insufficient support from work units and other stakeholders, and data that did not entirely align with the required data.

Readiness and Challenges of Indonesian Health Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institutions

This research is intended to examine the readiness and challenges faced by the Indonesian Health Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes) as an independent accreditation institution with authority to carry out the accreditation of study programs in the science and health professions fields in Indonesia. Based on the case study method, LAM-PTKes generally has the infrastructure and resources to carry out its role as LAM which has the authority to accredit these study programs. The research results show that this institution still has two types of challenges. First, internal challenges include inadequate study program accreditation teams who can understand the technical aspects of accreditation and a need for more supporting IT staff who can help with the accreditation system of these study programs. Second, external challenges, namely the lack of understanding from field study program managers regarding the stages, processes, and documents needed in accreditation and the management system for accreditation supporting documents in general, still need to be better integrated. Despite these challenges, this institution strives to become an influential accreditation body in the national and global arena. To achieve this, this institution needs effective, adaptive and resilient accreditation management and an executive leadership team to manage accreditation issues developing in the digital era.
