It is usually an incidental finding in a patient with no pulmonary symptoms.Accessory liver lobes arise most commonly from the right lobe and may project in any direction. The most common is Riedel's lobe, which descends inferiorly along the right lateral abdominal wall as a tongue-like projection from the inferior border of the liver.
