Development of Counseling Sites with Digital Accessibility Features for the Blind and Visually Impaired Students

Current counseling services, such as those available through sikons.upgris.ac.id, lack full accessibility for students with disabilities, particularly those who are blind and visually impaired. Studies reveal significant accessibility barriers across educational websites, impeding equal access for users with disabilities. This study addresses these gaps by developing an accessible counseling platform aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure inclusive access for all students. Using the ADDIE model's structured stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, this study aims to create a technically advanced, user-centered application that enhances usability and independence for students with disabilities. Results from user acceptance testing with 11 participants indicated a high satisfaction rate of 89,33%, demonstrating that the platform effectively meets users' needs, significantly improving accessibility and usability in educational counseling services. This outcome underscores the importance of integrating accessibility standards to foster inclusivity and equitable participation in digital educational resources.

P0342 Quantitative faecal immunochemical test (qFIT) is comparable to calprotectin as a biomarker of IBD: Prospective longitudinal analysis of disease activity and endoscopic mucosal healing

Abstract Background Quantitative faecal immunochemical test (qFIT) to detect stool haemoglobin is used for colorectal cancer screening at a population level in UK (& Europe) with high patient acceptability due to its ease of use and relative low cost . We evaluate the clinical utility of qFIT with faecal calprotectin (fCal) in IBD. Methods UC and CD patients from the prospective, multi-centre longitudinal MUSIC study (2020-2024; www.musicstudy.uk) were included. qFIT and fCal samples were collected every three months at five time points. qFIT analysis was conducted using the HM-JACKarc automated analyser. Blinded qFIT results were compared with physician global assessment, clinical indices (HBI, SCCAI)*, and endoscopic findings. All patients had active disease at baseline, with a repeat colonoscopy at timepoint 3 to assess for complete mucosal healing (CMH), defined as Mayo-score or SES-CD of 0 in UC and CD respectively. Results 357 qFIT results were analysed from 124 patients (58 colonic CD/ 66 UC). qFIT was significantly higher in active disease compared to remission (n=227 vs. 130; 100µgHb/g vs 2.5 µgHb/g; p<0.001). The ability of qFIT to predict active disease was higher in those with UC than colonic CD AUC 0.77 and 0.69 respectively (in 179 UC /178 CD samples). Optimal threshold for predicting remission was <14µgHb/g, with a sensitivity of 0.73, specificity of 0.66. 27 qFIT results from ileal CD patients showed no significant difference between active disease and remission (p=0.2). 339 qFIT results had paired FCal results. The ability of fCal to predict active disease was higher in UC than colonic CD with AUC of 0.82 and 0.77 respectively. For both IBD types, the AUC was 0.81 [Figure 1]. The optimal fCal level was 240 µg/g for remission, with a sensitivity of 0.76 and specificity of 0.72. Combining qFIT and fCal improved prediction of remission to an AUC of 0.82. qFIT performed better than fCal at predicting mucosal inflammation with an AUC 0.74 vs. 0.67 respectively. In 76 UC patients, Mayo endoscopy scores were paired with mean qFIT levels, showing a correlation: score 0 = 32 µgHb/g, score 1 = 181 µgHb/g, score 2 = 217 µgHb/g, and score 3 = 295 µgHb/g (one-way ANOVA, p = <0.001). 20 patients (from 52) achieving CMH, showed significant reduction in qFIT using paired T-test (107 vs 37 µgHb/g, p=0.026). In the 32 patients with ongoing inflammation, qFIT remained high (213 vs. 170 µgHb/g, p=0.23). Conclusion qFIT is comparable to fCal as a biomarker of IBD activity. With its superior patient acceptability and intrinsic test qualities, it should be considered as routine clinical test in IBD. Master Curve Evaluation Using the Fracture Toughness Data at Low Temperature of T-T0 < −50°C

Abstract The Master Curve methodology standardized by ASTM E1921 and JEAC4216 specifies an acceptable test temperature, T, to be selected within the range of ± 50°C from the evaluated reference temperature, T0. If small size specimens, such as 4mm thickness Mini-C(T) are used to measure fracture toughness, KJc, temperatures lower in this range should be selected to decrease the number of censored KJc due to plastic strain evolution that leads to specimen failure above the KJclimit. The combined constraints imposed by the T0 ± 50°C range and the KJclimit may cause difficulty in selecting an appropriate test temperature. The present study proposes a criterion based on Tave, the average of test temperature of uncensored valid KJc values in a data set, to judge whether a dataset including data obtained T-T0< −50°C can be used for estimation of T0. Analyses with synthetic KJc datasets demonstrated that if Tave-T0> = −50°C the resultant Master Curve reasonably represents the fracture toughness distribution even if the dataset includes data tested below T-T0 = −50°C. Analyses on recursively sampled datasets from an experimental fracture toughness dataset of over 200 values demonstrated that the concept of Tave reasonably works for T0 evaluation of such datasets even if a realistic limited number of specimens (e.g., 12-16) are tested. Allowing some data tested below T-T0 = −50 °C showed a higher percentage of valid T0 evaluations than can be achieved using the existing requirements of either ASTM E1921 or JEAC4216.

Electroencephalography in Clinical Practice: Neurology Professionals' Views on Optimal Standards of Care.

Delivering optimal care to patients with seizures and epilepsy requires all EEGs to be interpreted accurately and reliably. This study investigated neurology professionals' opinions on the ideal standards for EEG in clinical care. We developed an anonymous e-survey targeting practicing and trainee neurologists focused on participants' demographics, clinical practice characteristics, and views on optimal EEG standards of care-including whether an EEG certification test is needed and whether postresidency/fellowship training in EEG/epilepsy is necessary for neurologists who interpret outpatient/routine EEGs in practice. The survey was hosted by the Neurology Clinical Practice-Practice Current, and it was distributed online through the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and International League Against Epilepsy, and through social media. Two hundred eighty-three responses were included: 119 from EEG/epilepsy-trained neurologists, 83 from non-EEG/epilepsy-trained neurologists, 75 from trainees, and 6 from advanced care providers. Most participants (78%) agreed that "an objective certification test of ability to interpret EEGs is needed for all those who interpret EEGs in clinical practice." Most participants (71%) believed that outpatient/routine EEGs may be read only by neurologists with EEG/epilepsy training; this opinion was more prevalent among EEG/epilepsy-trained (83%) versus non-EEG/epilepsy-trained neurologists (55%). Our neurology community should discuss the need to develop and implement a certification test of ability for all neurologists who wish to interpret EEGs in clinical practice. In addition, it is imperative to improve in-residency EEG education to ensure that neurology graduates achieve EEG competence before entering the workforce.

Developing an Evidence- and Theory-Informed Mother-Daughter mHealth Intervention Prototype Targeting Physical Activity in Preteen Girls of Low Socioeconomic Position: Multiphase Co-Design Study.

Preteen girls of lower socioeconomic position are at increased risk of physical inactivity. Parental support, particularly from mothers, is positively correlated with girls' physical activity levels. Consequently, family-based interventions are recognized as a promising approach to improve young people's physical activity. However, the effects of these interventions on girls' physical activity are often inconsistent, with calls for more rigorous, theory-informed, and co-designed family-based interventions to promote physical activity in this cohort. This study aimed to use co-design methods to develop an evidence- and theory-informed mother-daughter mobile health intervention prototype targeting physical activity in preteen girls. The intervention prototype was developed in accordance with the United Kingdom Medical Research Council framework, the Behaviour Change Wheel, the Theoretical Domains Framework, and the Behaviour Change Techniques Ontology. The Behaviour Change Intervention Ontology was also used to annotate the intervention characteristics. The co-design process incorporated three phases: (1) behavioral analysis, (2) the selection of intervention components, and (3) refinement of the intervention prototype. Throughout these phases, workshops were conducted with preteen girls (n=10), mothers of preteen girls (n=9), and primary school teachers (n=6), with additional input from an academic advisory panel. This 3-phase co-design process resulted in the development of a theory-informed intervention that targeted two behaviors: (1) mothers' engagement in a range of supportive behaviors for their daughters' physical activity and (2) daughters' physical activity behavior. Formative research identified 11 theoretical domains to be targeted as part of the intervention (eg, knowledge, skills, and beliefs about capabilities). These were to be targeted by 6 intervention functions (eg, education, persuasion, and modeling) and 27 behavior change techniques (eg, goal setting and self-monitoring). The co-design process resulted in a mobile app being chosen as the mode of delivery for the intervention. This paper offers a comprehensive description and analysis of using co-design methods to develop a mother-daughter mobile health intervention prototype that is ready for feasibility and acceptability testing. The Behaviour Change Wheel, Theoretical Domains Framework, and Behaviour Change Techniques Ontology provided a systematic and transparent theoretical foundation for developing the prototype by enabling the identification of potential pathways for behavior change. Annotating the Behaviour Change Intervention Ontology entities represents the intervention characteristics in a detailed and structured way that supports improved communication, replication, and implementation of interventions.

Effective drug inventory management is essential for hospital pharmacy management to prevent stock shortages and waste due to expiration. Bina Kasih Hospital faces obstacles such as manual recording and reporting difficulties. This study designs a web-based drug inventory information system with waterfall methodology, using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap interface. This system allows real-time data access, stock tracking, automatic notification, and data integration. Testing using black-box and user acceptance testing showed increased operational efficiency, with a reduction in recording errors of up to 80% and an acceleration of reporting of up to 50%. This system supports auditing, reporting, and data integration. This solution is expected to optimize Bina Kasih Hospital's pharmacy management, with the potential for further development for integration with electronic medical record modules and procurement systems.

Organoleptic properties and neuroimaging response on the perception of edible gels.

The rapidly increasing number of elderly people in the world highlights the need for the development of innovative foods with modified textures that do not expose the elderly to the risks associated with food consumption (risk of aspiration, suffocation, and chocking). Providing specific food such as edible gel for the elderly population and the study of their properties is a challenge for the scientific community. There are some available gels in the supermarkets destined for the sports population, with specific texture and technological properties that could be used and extrapolated for senior people. To explore this potential, five types of sport commercial gels purchased from a local Slovak market were characterized in order to evaluate their technological properties and to know if these types of gels are suitable for the senior population. The energy gels were evaluated using acceptance testing, involving 75 seniors who evaluated important organoleptic attributes by a combination of hedonic and intensity scales. The same consumer panel then profiled the gels using the Temporal Dominance of Sensations (TDS) technique. The prevalence of food neophobia was measured with the Food Neophobia Scale (FNS) and also using neuroimaging and biometric methods. The results suggest that there are significant differences in the perception of edible gels, as confirmed by measurements via electroencephalography (EEG) and Facereading. We conclude by suggesting the potential of specific foods such as edible gels for the elderly population as our findings also confirm that the composition of these specific and sustainable foods may elicit different perceptions. This highlights the need to use biometric and neuroimaging methods in food research in order to create more optimal formulations for specific populations.

Which is the shear force that defines the lamb's sensory acceptance?

Abstract The lamb meat tenderness acceptance threshold has been little studied and has never been evaluated for the Brazilian population. So, this study aimed to find the maximum acceptable shear force for Brazilian lamb meat consumers. Three muscles were previously tested and chosen Longissimus thoracis et lumborum (LTL), psoas major and semimembranosus muscles received different treatments in the post-slaughter period (Hot deboning followed by cooling on ice, Standard carcass cooling and Ageing), aiming to create samples with varying levels of tenderness, which were evaluated by acceptance tests and descriptive analysis of tenderness by a trained team. Sarcomere length, myofibril fragmentation index, proximate composition, weight loss and pH analyses were performed to observe the biochemical phenomena in each treatment's meats. Variations caused in samples by treatments were more significant than differences inherent to the different muscles. Pearson and Multiple Factor correlation analyses indicated positive correlations between sarcomere length, myofibril fragmentation index and the scores assigned in sensory tests by 140 panelists and a trained team. Both groups noted that the differences between the meats in terms of tenderness and the sarcomere length also influenced the perception of juiciness observed by the groups. The maximum shear force indicated as acceptable for lamb meat was 44.1 N. The results obtained are important to guide the lamb meat producer for certain practices in the post-slaughter moments, avoiding actions that lead to sarcomere shortening and encouraging the production of aged meats.

A Cellulosic Fibre Foam as a Bicycle Helmet Impact Liner for Brain Injury Mitigation in Oblique Impacts

Bulky cellulosic network structures (BRC) with densities between 60 and 130g/l were investigated as a sustainable alternative to fossil-based foams for impact liners in bicycle helmets. The mechanical properties of BRC foams were characterized across a wide range of strain rates and incorporated into a validated finite element model of a hardshell helmet. Virtual impact tests simulating both consumer information and certification scenarios were conducted to compare BRC-lined helmets against conventional expanded polystyrene (EPS) designs. Results showed that BRC outperformed EPS in oblique impacts, reducing angular accelerations and velocity changes by approximately 33%, particularly for z-axis rotations. The average risk of sustaining AIS2 injuries and concussions was lower for BRC (8% and 34% respectively) compared to EPS (13% and 46%). However, BRC helmets exhibited bottoming out in certain straight impacts, potentially failing certification tests. This limitation was addressed through design modifications. The study demonstrates that cellulosic fibre network structures have the potential to replace fossil-based foams in bicycle helmets while providing adequate protection and improved performance in mitigating rotational forces.

Local wisdom-based instant cream soup as functional emergency food during health crises and disasters

Background: The development of functional food with local ingredients of black soybeans and brown rice in the form of cream soup as emergency food is important. These foods have high nutritional content for nutritional preparedness efforts in disaster and health crises. Objective: This study aims to determine the acceptability and nutritional value of three types of cream soup (original flavor, mushroom, and vegetable onion). Methods: There were 236 panelists from 3 provinces (West Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java) for the sensory acceptability test. Nutritional value is measured with HPLC, AAS, or Gravimetric methods according to AOAC (Association of Official Analytical Chemists). Result: The best results for the acceptability of the overall parameter of cream soup in 3 flavors of original (6.6±2.3), mushroom (6.7±2.3), and vegetable onion (7.2±2.4) were in the provinces of West Java. The highest nutritional value of the 3 cream soup variants is found in the mushroom variant with nutritional values of energy (418.14 kcal), protein (12.75 gr), fat (12.65 gr), fiber (15.76 gr), and sodium (1,608 g). Conclusion: The best acceptable product in terms of color, aroma, texture, and taste was the vegetable onion cream soup variant. One portion of cream soup can meet daily energy requirements of 21.5%.

Innovative virtual reality solutions for technical training in heavy construction equipment repair and maintenance

The construction industry is significantly impacted by heavy construction equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and vehicles. This equipment speeds up building, moves supplies, and builds infrastructure. Using heavy construction equipment correctly can boost productivity and shorten project timelines. Due to their complexity and scale, this equipment must be maintained and repaired. Poor maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment can reduce performance, damage, and even cause accidents. Due to these problems, this study focuses on the design and development of a simulation training application to enhance the technical skills of workers in maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment using virtual reality (VR) technology, the development of this application will be carried out using Unreal Engine 5 and thereafter tested and implemented at PT Menara Indonesia or M-Knows Consulting, Indonesia. At the end of this study, the design and development of a VR training simulation application for heavy equipment repair has been successfully completed. After testing the VR application and conducting user acceptance tests, it was concluded that the created VR application greatly assists M-Knows Consulting in training workers to perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, with a user acceptance rate of 84%.

Spatio-Temporal Analysis and Real-Time Air Quality Monitoring Using Historical Data and Laravel: A Decision Tree-Based Web GIS System

This research presents the development of a Web GIS system using a Decision Tree algorithm to classify and map air pollution levels in the Jabodetabek region. The system integrates real-time air quality data from the AQICN API, focusing on key pollutants such as PM10, PM2.5, NO2, O3, and SO2. Through spatio-temporal analysis, it provides accurate visualizations of pollution levels, offering valuable insights into urban environmental health. The Decision Tree algorithm demonstrated high accuracy, with precision, recall, and F1-scores near 100% in cities like Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi. In Tangerang, where pollution varies, accuracy remained high. User Acceptance Testing showed an acceptance score of 86.75%, indicating reliability and strong user approval. These findings suggest that the system can effectively support air quality management and increase public awareness about environmental protection in Jabodetabek.

SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN KELAYAKAN PENERIMA BLT-DD MENGGUNAKAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP)

The government implemented BLT-Dana Desa to alleviate poverty. In Teluk Kapuas Village, the distribution process is still manual, making it challenging for village officials to identify recipients. The BLT-Dana Desa scheme allows recipients to be determined participatively through village meetings, but without a definite method, this process is time-consuming and delays decision-making. To expedite the selection of BLT recipients, a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was developed. This application helps prioritize recipients based on criteria such as monthly income, housing conditions, dependents, age, and program participation. The AHP method simplifies complex problems into smaller, manageable parts, enabling objective and consistent evaluations. Testing with Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) showed the application met user expectations. UAT, conducted via a Google Form questionnaire using a Likert Scale, achieved an 88% approval rating from 5 respondents. The application is considered feasible for accelerating the BLT recipient selection process in Teluk Kapuas Village. Its implementation is expected to make aid distribution more efficient and targeted, supporting the government’s efforts to reduce poverty in the area.

PENGARUH PASSING STATIS DAN DINAMIS TERHADAP PENERIMAAN BOLA PERTAMA SEPAK TAKRAW SMK N 3 SEMARANG

This study aims to investigate the influence and differences between static and dynamic passingexercises in receiving the first ball. The research method uses the M-S (Matched Subject Design) standard. The total population is 15 students and the sample is 12 students, using the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument with the first ball acceptance test was retested with validity of 0.79 and reliability of 0.96. The independent variable is the practice of static and dynamic passing, the dependent variable is the ability to receive the first ball. Data analysis used the t-test statistic at a significance level of 5% with d.b n-1. The results of the research were: 1) The t-score of experimental group 1 was higher than the t-table (5.869 > 2.571) which means that there was an influence from static passingtraining. 2) The t-score of experimental group 2 is higher than the t table (6.932 > 2.571) which means that there is an influence from dynamic passingtraining. 3) the test results for the difference between the T-score of static and dynamic passingexercises is smaller than the T-Table (0.209<2.571), which means there is no difference in influence.

Mobile-Based Event Decoration Ordering System Using UAT Method with PIECES Framework

The Mobile Event Decoration Booking System is an innovative solution designed to facilitate users in ordering event decorations. By implementing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method and the PIECES framework, this system ensures that the developed application meets the needs and expectations of users. This research aims to identify and analyze key features in the ordering process and evaluate user satisfaction with the application. Respondents provide valuable feedback regarding the interface, functionality, and overall user experience through UAT. The research results indicate that this application can enhance the efficiency of bookings, reduce communication errors between service providers and customers, and offer a better experience. With the application of the UAT method, users feel that this system effectively meets their needs, resulting in an improved experience in event planning. These findings suggest that the factors influencing user satisfaction and interest are adequate and should be maintained. The Mobile Event Decoration Booking System has successfully improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the booking service, with an average user satisfaction rate of 95%.

Design and Development of a Website-Based “Agriplan” Information System to Help Plant Care

Agriculture has been an important part of human life for a long time, with farmers as the main drivers. Farmers often face the challenge of increasing land conversion, especially in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with population growth and the need for land for housing, offices, and government facilities. As a result, every year around 10,000 hectares of agricultural land in NTB shrinks from a total of 270,000 hectares, causing an increase in raw material prices, economic decline and loss of farmer jobs. This research aims to develop a Website-Based “Agriplan” Information System to Assist Plant Care, to support the management of narrow agricultural land with access to agricultural information and solutions. Development using Personal Extreme Programming method, with a qualitative approach through observation and interviews, as well as Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing. The test results show that 90.04% of this system is effective in supporting sustainable agriculture.

Community-based education using tempeh nugget modules to increase plant-based protein consumption in preventing stunting

Stunting remains a serious public health issue in Indonesia, including in Karangmuncang Village, Cigandamekar District, Kuningan Regency. One potential solution to this nutritional problem is increasing the consumption of plant-based foods, such as tempeh. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational module based on tempeh nuggets in increasing plant-based protein consumption among housewives with children under five in Karangmuncang. The research used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, involving 60 randomly selected respondents. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire with five main sections: demographic data (age, education, employment, number of children, family income), knowledge about plant-based foods (definition, sources, benefits, and their role in preventing stunting), attitudes toward plant-based consumption (confidence, willingness to try tempeh, and perception of food variety), plant-based consumption behavior (frequency, processing method, and frequency of cooking tempeh), and acceptance of tempeh nuggets (interest, taste assessment, routine consumption plan, and perception of benefits). After four weeks of educational intervention, data were analyzed using the paired T-test for knowledge, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test for attitudes and acceptance, and the Chi-Square test for tempeh consumption behavior. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, attitudes, consumption behavior, and acceptance of tempeh nuggets (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that the educational module effectively increases awareness and adoption of plant-based protein foods in the community. Future research should involve larger sample sizes, extended intervention periods, and explore other factors influencing behavior change.

ОГНЕВЫЕ ИСПЫТАНИЯ АВТОНОМНЫХ ДЫМОВЫХ ПОЖАРНЫХ ИЗВЕЩАТЕЛЕЙ

Рассмотрению подлежат результаты экспериментальных огневых испытаний автономных дымовых пожарных извещателей. Проанализированы положения международных и отечественных нормативных стандартов, регламентирующих требования к дымовым пожарным извещателям и методам их испытаний. Рассмотрены литературные источники по разработке стендов для проведения испытаний дымовых пожарных извещателей. В результате проведенных экспериментов получены числовые данные по времени срабатывания различных автономных дымовых пожарных извещателей при применении тестовых очагов пожара ТП-2 и ТП-7, уточнены условия их месторасположения, отличных от стандартных. Сделаны выводы о нецелесообразности применения тестового очага пожара ТП-7 для сертификационных испытаний автономных дымовых пожарных извещателей. Combustion of basic materials that are typical for residential and administrative facilities is accompanied by the release of smoke. Detection of smoke, which is a solid aerosol, is carried out by different type of smoke fire detectors, which have special technical requirements depending on the conditions of their use. Among the various types of smoke fire detectors, it is worth highlighting smoke detectors, which are one of the effective technical means for warning people in case of fires. Smoke fire detectors contain in a single housing a typical smoke detector and an audible and/or speech signal source that is triggered when the smoke alarm is activated. Smoke detectors are not connected to fire alarm system loops and operate autonomously. The sound signal of the smoke detectors can wake up sleeping person or notify a person in an adjacent room that smoke has begun to form. Installation of smoke detectors is relevant on residential sector facilities, hotel rooms, and hostels. The adopted provisions for fire testing of smoke fire detectors in international, regional and interstate standards require clarification of the types of test fires and determination of the conditions for fire testing of smoke fire detectors. According to State Standard GOST 34698, ISO 7240-9, EN 54-9, the room for fire testing has a height of 4 m. This height is not typical for residential and administrative buildings. The height of this type of buildings, as a rule, is not more than 3 m. The test fire source TP-7 is applied for rooms with a height of 3 m and less in accordance with ISO 7240-9, EN 54-9. To simulate a room height of 3 m, tests are carried out in a standard room with the test fire source installed at a height of 1 m from the floor level. Two series of experiments were carried out with test fire sources TP-2 and TP-7 that were installed on the floor and at a height of 1 m above the floor level. There were analyzed the test results, presented in the article in the form of graphs. There were found no significant deviations in the test results. It is concluded that the use of test fire source TP-7 during certification tests is not justified.

Cadê o Kauê? Co-design and acceptability testing of a chat-story aimed at enhancing youth participation in the promotion of mental health in Brazil.

Adolescent mental health is vital for public health, yet many interventions fail to recognise adolescents as proactive community contributors. This paper discusses the co-design and acceptability testing of a chat-story intervention to enhance Brazilian adolescents' participation in the promotion of mental health in their peer communities. We specifically highlight the iterative process of co-creating this intervention with community stakeholders. The co-design was led by researchers, a youth collaborative group, and health-tech experts. Part 1 included quantitative (n = 1,768) and qualitative (n = 46) studies with Brazilian adolescents aged 15-18 for priority-setting. Part 2 involved co-creation and technical production, with input from youth advisors (n = 24), school staff (n = 11), and policy experts (n = 3). In Part 3, the chat-story was user tested (n = 32). Parts 4 and 5 assessed acceptability through a qualitative study in schools (n = 138) and initial efficacy during an online campaign (n = 795). Participants aspired to support their peers' mental health in schools, both one-to-one and collectively, but felt unprepared. This informed the chat-story's goal of enhancing peer support and collective action skills. Themes identified during Part 1, such as prejudice and academic pressure, were woven into the narrative to raise awareness of the social determinants of mental health, drawing from real-life stories. In the final story, players search for their missing best friend at school, uncovering his anxiety struggles and practicing skills such as empathic listening and partnership building. A manual for teachers was collaboratively designed for use within school settings, supplementing direct-to-user online applications. Acceptability testing showed participants found the tool authentic and user-friendly. Online users perceived the tool as preparing and motivating them to offer peer support and engage in collective action. The immersive co-creation model, enriched by input from key stakeholders, yielded a relevant and well-received intervention for Brazilian adolescents. Co-designed creative tools like chat-stories hold promise as digital mental health tools, fostering awareness, critical reflection, and inspiring adolescents to drive positive social change.
