Mapping Information Asset Profile In The Implementation Of Risk Management Information System Using Octave Allergo

The development of information systems that are very fast nowadays, encourages every organization to follow in order to escalate the competition. The technology that is widely used today is web-based technology. Apart from being easily accessible and used, this technology is vulnerable to any attacks; so using this information system will bring access risks by those who are not authorized. Therefore, risk management is something that needs to be considered in an organization to minimize the risks that will arise. Mapping the information asset profile can help Universitas Internasional Batam to evaluate, manage risks, and protect assets from the risks that will occur. The researcher used OCTAVE Allergo method in mapping and measuring Information Systems at Universitas Internasional Batam, consists of Academic Information Systems, Academic Portals, Registration Information Systems, Financial Information Systems, HR Information Systems. From the results of this study, Universitas Internasional Batam finds out which impact areas are the most effected: the reputation and customers trust, recognize the information of critical assets, mitigate assets that have high risks, in order to minimize unwanted risks.

PENGARUH KUALITAS SISTEM DAN KUALITAS INFORMASI PORTAL AKADEMIK UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG TERHADAP KEPUASAN PENGGUNA

This study aims to determine the effect of System Quality and Information Quality of UNP Academic Portal on User Satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted in the University of Padang. While the research time was carried out in July-August 2018. The population in this study were UNP students who were enrolled actively in 2016 with a sample of 400 people taken by probability sampling. Data is processed using multiple linear regression using a SPSS 16.0 program. The results showed that System Quality had a significant positive effect on User Satisfaction and Information Quality had a significant positive effect on User Satisfaction at α = 0.05Keywords: Information Systems, System Quality, Information Quality, User Satisfaction

فاعلیة بنیة محتوى البوابات الإلکترونیة فی المؤسسات الأکادیمیة ومدى تطبیقها لمعاییر الجودة العالمیة

ملخص البحث: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلي التعرف على بنية محتوي البوابات الإلکترونية؛ والتعرف على آليات تصنيف بوابات الجامعات عالميا وذلک الکشف عن مواطن القوة والضعف فى البوابات الإلکترونية للجامعات (عينة الدراسة) ومدى مواکبتها لمعايير الجودة العالمية من خلال تصنيف (ويبوميترکس العالمي للجامعات)، والعمل علي تحسين جودة الخدمة بما يتماشى مع هذه المعايير، واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج المسح بشقيه الوصفي والتحليلي، واستخدمت الدراسة أداة تحليل المضمون، کما تم تطبيق الدراسة على أربعة بوابات جامعية وهي: (بوابة جامعة الأزهر، جامعة القاهرة، الجامعة الأمريکية، وبوابة الجامعة البريطانية) وتوصلت الدراسة الى عدد من النتائج، منها: احتلت بوابة جامعة القاهرة الترتيب الأول واحتل الترتيب الثاني بوابة جامعة الأزهر واحتل الترتيب الثالث بوابة الجامعة الأمريکية وجاء بالترتيب الرابع بوابة الجامعة البريطانية، وذلک من خلال معايير تقييم ويبوميترکس للجودة والذي يشمل حجم الموقع (عدد الصفحات) والملفات الغنية (عدد الملفات) والأبحاث المحکمة والتقارير والرسائل والملخصات والصور والأفلام والخرائط والروابط والظهور وإن العملية التقويمية تؤسس على جملة من المعايير التى تحدد الظاهرة المدروسة ، للوصول إلى نموذج لما يجب أن تکون عليه هذه الظاهرة، کما توصلت الدراسة إلي مجموعة من التوصيات منها: أهمية اعتماد المعايير الخاصة بجودة تصميم البوابات والمواقع ومنها معايير الجودة (معايير تقييم ويبوميترکس)؛ مع مراعاة البناء الهيکلي وما يتعلق به من مجموعة الخصائص والوظائف والخدمات الأساسية التي ينبغي أن تنطوي عليها البوابة الأکاديمية، ومن الضروري النظر إلى البوابات الأکاديمية باعتبارها وسيلة فعالة للنشر العلمي في المؤسسات الأکاديمية. الکلمات المفتاحية: البوابات الإلکترونية، بنية محتوي البوابة، معايير الجودة العالمية (تصنيف ويبوميترکس) . The effectiveness of the structure of electronic portal content in academic institutions and the extent of its application to international quality standards; Comparative Study on Egyptian Universities (Governmental and Private) Abstract: The aim of this study was to identify the structure of the electronic portal content; to identify the mechanisms of classification of university gates globally, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the universities' e-gates (the study sample) and their conformity with international quality standards through the classification of the global universities. The study was based on four different university gates: Al-Azhar Gate, Gate, American And the of the British University). The study reached a number of results, including: Cairo occupied the first ranking and the second ranking was Gate of Al-Azhar University and ranked third, Gate of the American University (The number of pages), rich files (number of files), structured research, reports, messages, abstracts, pictures, films, maps, links and appearances. The evaluation process is based on a set of criteria that define the studied phenomenon, This study should be based on a number of recommendations, including the importance of adopting standards for the quality of portal design and sites, including quality standards (Webometrics evaluation criteria), taking into account the structural structure and related set of characteristics, functions and basic services that should involve The academic gateway, and it is necessary to consider academic portals as an effective means of scientific dissemination in academic institutions.

Retirement Well-Being: A Systematic Review of the Literature

Abstract The objective of this systematic literature review was to investigate the variables that would improve well-being in retirement by analyzing relevant empirical studies. In the literature search, six keywords (retirement, positive psychology, well-being, satisfaction, happiness and quality of life) were used in six international academic portals. This search identified 403 articles, and those meeting the pre-established inclusion criteria were extracted. The 55 articles selected were analyzed based on nine categories: language, year, journal, country, objective, dependent variable, instruments, independent variables and results. The studies had a longitudinal, transversal design or reported on instrument creation and validation. The literature review pointed out a large number of variables, confirming the multidimensionality of the constructs. Aspects highlighted include health, economic situation, gender, marital status, interpersonal relationships, whether retirement was voluntary, retirement duration and leisure activities. A compilation of variables and an agenda for future studies are proposed based on the results of this review.

IMPLEMENTASI PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI AKADEMIK IKIP PGRI BOJONEGORO BERBASIS ONLINE

The Implementation for application of information technology in higher education is one form of change in the process of academic administration services to students so that the student registration process is more effective and efficient. In relation to the use of information technology for the management of student administrative academic documents, IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro has made changes to the academic administration system from a manual document management system to an online-based student administration management system, namely management of information technology-based document administration through the internet. This study focuses on the problem of how the effectiveness of online academic administration services of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro students and what factors influence the effectiveness of online academic administration services of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro students with descriptive qualitative research methods, and theory used is e-government and information systems. The findings of this study obtained that the online academic administration services of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro students are actually very good for meeting the academic needs of students. Students also understand the ways or steps to access the online academic administration portal.

KONTRIBUSI END - USER COMPUTING SATISFACTION TERHADAP KEPUASAN PENGGUNA WEBSITE PORTAL AKADEMIK PADA SISTEM SMART CAMPUS UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG

This study was conducted to reveal the contribution of End - User Computing Satisfaction ( EUCS ) to the satisfaction of the end users in the UNP Academic Portal website. This research is a descriptive correlational ex post facto nature. The sample in this study amounted to 100 students. Groups as well as proportional (Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling). Data on the number the number of end-user portal website Academic Computer Center was obtained from the head of the UNP, EUCS which are factors such as the content, accuracy, format, easy of use, timeliness which become variables in this study were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using statistical methods to analyze the impact. The results of data analysis showed : Content variables, Accuracy, format, Easy of use and Timeliness together accounted for 92,70 % of user satisfaction Portal website academic in the UNP. So it can be concluded factor content, accuracy, format, easy of use, timeliness has contributed to user satisfaction UNP Academic Portal website, if the quality of the website Portal Academic UNP in view of the five factors of content, accuracy, format, easy of use, improved timeliness then the end-user satisfaction Academic Portal website that faculty and students will also be increased. PERBANDINGAN KETERAMPILAN DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR (IPK) ANTARA MAHASISWA PENGLAJU DENGAN MAHASISWA KOS PADA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN GEOGRAFI

This research aims to determine the skils or commuter univerty students, the skills of circular university students, the learning achievement of circular university students, and the comparison of skills and learning achievement (GPA) in study program of geography eduation. The research uses quantitative research and purposive sampling technique for taking sample. The measured variable are the skills and learning (GPA) of university students. The research uses questionnaire thar is distributed to 44 respondents for learning skills variable. Then, for learning achievement (GPA) variable is taken from academic portal of the students in Geography Education UNP. The results show that the learning skills or commuter university students have an average value (54,86) and the average value from the learning skills of circular university students is (54,45). The learning achievement of commuter university students have an average value (3,373), and the learning achievement of circular university students an average (3,412), The result use t-test with SPSS version 22, show that t-test for learning skills variable have t-count 0,823 and compare with significance value 0,823> 0, 05. The learning achievement (GPA) of university students have t-count 0,520 with significance value 0,520> 0,05. Because of the, it can be concluded that there is no differences in skills and learning achievement (GPA) between commuter university students with circular university students.

ISO/IEC 9126 Quality Model for Evaluation of Student Academic Portal

The papers discuss and evaluate the quality of student academic portal using ISO / IEC 9126 quality modeling approach. Quality factors are tested and analyzed are characteristics of Usability, Reliability, Efficiency, and Portability, this evaluation is very important, considering the number of users of the portal system so much and growing. one of the efforts to improve and optimize the performance of the academic information system management team. Evaluate the quality of the user perception approach 10 principles of usability heuristics and internal site performance testing or web server. The results of analysis and testing of 4 quality characteristics have issued several recommendations for improvement and optimization of the performance of student academic portals.

This faculty provide services both academic and non”academic in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) have been established by University. Therefore, sustaining it requires an ethics in the public service to civitas academica. The problem formulation in this research is (1) How is the application of ethics public service in Faculty Social Science and Political Science year 2015-2016? (2) What is the impact application of ethics public service to the quality of public service in Faculty Social Science and Political Science year 2015-2016?. This research to aim (1) To describe application of type public service in Faculty Social Science and Political Science year 2015 -2016 and (2) To analysis of quality public service to quality public service in Faculty Social Science and Political Science year 2015-2016. The results of research to show is the services provided by Faculty Social Science and Political Science is of administrative services, facilities and infrastructure. Then, in terms of quality of service provide has met the minimum service standard in accordance with guidelines or regulations of the rector on public service on campus to the civitas academica. Nonetheless, still many types of public service which should be improved example academic portal and facilities and infrastructure in lectures. Therefore, the faculty take a strategy to optimize expectations the civitas academica and utilization of information technology to overcome it.

ANALISIS PENERIMAAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI E-LEARNING UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL

The increasing information needs resulting the need of the information development systems also increased. The presence of a system development will help an agency to facilitate the management of your data and present a quality information. Any education world did not escape from its touch. The integration of information technology into the world of education has created a major influence. One of the products of integration of information technology into the world of education is e-learning. State University of Padang (UNP) has started to implement e-learning lesson in the process. Through the services of the technical services unit (PUSKOM) of the UNP, the development of e-learning that has started from the end of the year 2013 which in its utility is integrated with academic information systems and academic portal that is already running. It is becoming the cornerstone for the research which is related to the condition of existing system now. Whether e-learning really has accepted its existence by the student as a user. This study aims to reveal the influence of the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) against the acceptance of the application of UNP e-learning information system. Techniques of sampling was done randomly and sharing as well as proportional (Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling). Data of the number of students as the user is obtained from PUSKOM. The data framework of TAM who is deciding factors in the acceptance of the application of E-learning, such as the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness of, attitude toward using, and actual use, which becomes a variable in this study were collected through the questionnaire by using the Likert scale in the calculation that has tested the validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using statistical methods to analyze its effects. The results of the analysis of the data indicates that the variables research jointly has the influence on the acceptance of the E-learning application.Keywords : Information system, E-learning, Technology Acceptance Model, TAM

Understanding the Behavioral Intention to Use a University Web-Portal

Behavioral intention to use the information technology is a predictor of behavioral to use it. There are several studies investigating the effect of factors from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on attitude toward use and its effect on behavioral intention to use which based on Theory of Plan Behavior (TPB). However, there is a limited studies emphasizing on academic portal in a university. Therefore, this study investigates the effect of perceived ease of use (PEU) and perceived usefulness(PU) on attitude toward use (ATU) and Behavioral intention to use (BIU). Further, this study also aims to determine the relationship between attitude toward use (ATU) and behavioral intention to use (BIU). Using 123 registered students in four faculties, smart path least square (PLS) is applied to analysis the data. The findings show that PEU has a positive significant relationship with BIU and ATU. In addition, ATU also has a significant positive effect on BIU. However, PU do not have a significant relationship with BIU and ATU. This study has practical and theoretical implication and it discuss in detail in paper.

A Mobile Application and Academic Portal to Support Professionals Working with People Having Severe Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities

Abstract Some recent works claim that more support is required to include people with severe intellectual or developmental disabilities in their communities. This support can be provided in the form of tools for the professionals that will be in charge of the disabled people, that is, teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, etc. In this communication, we present one ICT tool for this purpose. The tool is composed of a mobile application, where the professionals can see some basic information on different syndromes that affect the communication abilities and have access to a list of basic words with related resources like sign language videos, pictures and pictograms. All the resources included in the mobile application are available in four different languages (Spanish, Catalan, German and Dutch) and are downloaded from a web service (not installed in the mobile application). The separation of mobile application and web service allows us to update and add resources whenever it is needed. The second part of the tool is an academic portal where the administrators can update and upload new resources that will be immediately available in the academic portal and in the mobile applications. These tools have been designed using an agile development methodology, which allows the frequent interaction between the stakeholders and the developers to end with a high quality software product. The design of both the academic portal and the mobile application allows the addition of new languages for the resources.

Rice Cultivation and Greenhouse Gas Emissions: A Review and Conceptual Framework with Reference to Ghana

Rice is an essential crop in Ghana. Several aspects of rice have been studied to increase its production; however, the environmental aspects, including impact on climate change, have not been studied well. There is therefore a gap in knowledge, and hence the need for continuous research. By accessing academic portals, such as Springer Open, InTech Open, Elsevier, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s offline campus library, 61 academic publications including peer reviewed journals, books, working papers, reports, etc. were critically reviewed. It was found that there is a lack of data on how paddy rice production systems affect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, particularly emissions estimation, geographical location, and crops. Regarding GHG emission estimation, the review identified the use of emission factors calibrated using temperate conditions which do not suit tropical conditions. On location, most research on rice GHG emissions have been carried out in Asia with little input from Africa. In regard to crops, there is paucity of in-situ emissions data from paddy fields in Ghana. Drawing on the review, a conceptual framework is developed using Ghana as reference point to guide the discussion on fertilizer application, water management rice cultivars, and soil for future development of adaptation strategies for rice emission reduction.

Prospects of mandibular advancement device (MAD) as a preferred treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in India: a systematic review

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an independent risk factor for increased cardiovascular and cerebro-vascular morbidity and mortality. OSA leads to loss of human life and huge economical burden to our Society worldwide. The adult's prevalence of OSA ranges between 9.3-13.5% in India. India is the second largest populated country of the world and by the end of 2030 it may become the most populated nation. This developing nation is already known as the world's capital of T2 DM, and other non-communicable diseases like Obesity, Hypertension, Stroke, Ischemic heart diseases (IHD), Hypercholesterolemia congestive heart failure are on a rising trend. These cardiovascular disorders were found to be associated with OSA. OSA treatment may improve these co-morbid conditions. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is a preferred choice for OSA treatment in western and developed countries. In India, where CPAP is out of the reach of most of the OSA affected population due to high cost and other socio-economic and cultural factors, MAD may become a preferred treatment option. MAD is cheaper than CPAP and generally equally effective. The patients suffering from sleep-related breathing disorder (SBD) may have an alternative to CPAP or surgery for their disease management. Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) may become an additional standard treatment of OSA in India, and has great potential for reducing associated undesirable cardiovascular co-morbidities and mortalities. This review highlights the prospects of MAD as a preferred treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea in India by extensively researching scientific literature, PubMed, Google Scholar, scientific, and academic web portals.

A Study on Andragogy & Heutagogy in Adult Education with Reference to Bloom’s Taxonomy

The contemporary education portals have been witnessing the transformational change in terms of teaching-learning endeavours. It is also evident that as the learners climb the stairs of academic portals, the pedagogy is being gradually replaced by the andragogy that focuses more student-centric education rather than teacher-centric education. Besides, the Heutagogy is also gaining tremendous response from the professional learners’ community. As per the Heutagogy, the learners may pursue their education online without any constant instructions from the teacher, besides, it also focuses at connecting the learners across the geographical boundaries. Due to the factors like convenient learning and effective mode of knowledge transfer, the Heutagogy has been accepted by the renowned universities and they are offering many professional courses through online. The only purpose of these certificate is to build workplace skills among the professionals The study focuses on the importance Andragogy and Heutagogy in the contemporary academic portals with reference to the Bloom’s Taxonomy in which the stages of learning processes are widely discussed. Besides, the population of 180 students were taken as sampling in order to collect the data. The results of the survey reports also determine that the professionals aspire more of Andragogical/Heutagogical learning processes than the traditional mode of learning in a classroom set-up. Further, the paper also suggests some of the effective learner-centric tools under Heutagogy that can effectively build the required professional skills among the professionals. Indeed, the suggested tools help the learners for an independent study and they are also intended to enhance their cognitive abilities.
