When academic papers’ stated emails do not match authors’ affiliations: A new budding crisis in paper mill-ridden academic publishing?

The email that is indicated on an academic paper usually reflects that of the corresponding author (CA). In some cases, there may be more than one CA, and thus emails. It stands to reason that the email, especially if its is an institutional email, should obligatorily match that of the CA’s affiliation. This report highlights 47 papers, all in Wiley (Hindawi) open access journals, in which the institutional email address suffix does not match or correspond to the stated affiliation indicated as the CA’s affiliation. All papers, except for one, have a stated Chinese academic affiliation. One possibility is that such papers are associated with paper mills, i.e., third party paid services providing content, and possibly even emails to CAs. Editors of the journals in which these papers have been published have the responsibility to investigate.

El autor de correspondencia en estudios métricos de la información: un análisis de la coautoría en Journal of informetrics

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las características del autor de correspondencia (AC) en el área de los estudios métricos de la información. Más específicamente, se analiza el papel del AC en los artículos publicados en coautoría en Journal of informetrics .JOI) en 2016 desde dos perspectivas: i) las características bibliométricas del AC; ii) el entendimiento del papel del AC por parte de los autores listados en los trabajos. Para alcanzar el objetivo, el análisis se realizó en dos etapas: 1) identificación del porcentaje de participación en las etapas fundamentales del desarrollo de la investigación y el índice h de los AC por tipo de autoría, categorizando las contribuciones de los autores utilizando la información de los formularios de envío de JOI; 2) evaluación cualitativa del papel del AC según el propio entendimiento de los autores de los artículos analizados, utilizando como base las respuestas de un cuestionario enviado a los autores (Hilário, 2020). Los resultados del análisis incluyen los indicadores bibliométricos relacionados con el AC por tipo de autoría (doble, triple, cuádruple o más): posición del AC en la línea de autoría; porcentaje total de contribución del AC en las principales fases del desarrollo de la investigación; índice h; así como el entendimiento de los 30 autores que respondieron el cuestionario en relación al papel del autor de correspondencia en el desarrollo de una investigación.

Abstract The purpose of this research, paying attention on the exaggerated advertisements on online sport media, was to investigate the illegality of the article typed advertisement of online sport media. The results of this research were as follows; First, the article typed advertisements are the assets of the media company as other articles or advertisements. Second, the persons of capacity to act are defined with sport online media, advertiser and customers. Third, the exaggerated advertisements of the sport online media and advertiser are regulated by Korean legal system. Fourth, when victims occurred, the rights of claim for damages could be activated based on the article 750 of the Korean Civil Law. 매일 흡연하는 여고생의 흡연양상, 건강행태 및 가족특성 : 청소년건강행태온라인조사 활용을 통한 융복합 연구

Abstract This study aimed to examine the difference of tobacco use, health behaviors and family factors according to the daily tobacco use among female adolescents in South Korea using cross-sectional national data. The study used raw data from the 11th Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey that was performed in 2015. Data of a total of 2,006 female students in high school were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23. Of the girl 27.5% in high school reported current smoker. Approximately 19.2% of the participants were classified as a daily smoker group. In the multinomial logistic analysis, factors associated with daily smoking were mother's smoking habit, facilities of residence, subjective academic achievement and subjective economic status. 게임 제작 원리 학습을 위한 게임의 설계 및 구현 : 스크래치 언어를 중심으로

Abstract Computer game is a result of integration of various academic areas, and the production of computer game requires knowledge and experience from various areas. This study demonstrates a game production process using Scratch. The intent was to experience the game development process and the production principle through actually building the core functions of a game using Scratch. As such, the computer game production principle was understood and it was made possible to learn more easily and more enjoyably the functions of multimedia and programming necessary for the production process. 원자력 규제기관의 SNS 활용 및 수용자 반응 분석 : 원자력안전위원회와 NRC 페이스북 비교를 중심으로

Abstract SNS users are continuously increasing and SNS is emerging as a major PR channel of government. In particular, SNS can be a useful tool, but also the challenges for risk communication. This study is examined how nuclear regulatory organizations'SNS management and visitors’ responses to the facebook pages in Korea and U.S..Results indicated that both organizations frequently used information-oriented posting. Concerning the types of PR, NSSC tended to mainly use 'Relationship-Management PR', NRC mainly use 'Image PR.' In addition, our analyses on visitors' responses showed that visitors usually in response to participational and visual(ex. video, card news) typed contents. Based on its’ results, this study provides practical suggestions for government’s future SNS management strategies. 황산용액에서 양이온계 추출제 및 TBP와의 혼합추출제에 의한 지르코늄(IV)과 하프늄(IV)의 용매추출

Abstract Separation of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) from sulfuric acid solutions was investigated by extraction with several acidic extractantssuch as Versatic acid, LIX 63, and Cyanex 301. From strong sulfuric acid solutions, the separation of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) by Ver-satic acid and LIX 63 was not possible, while selective extraction of Hf(IV) over Zr(IV) was obtained with Cyanex 301. How-ever, the extraction percentage of the two metals was much lower compared to that by D2EHPA. Mixing of TBP with Cyanex301 and D2EHPA led to negative effect on the extraction and separation of the two metal ions. 유전체 생태계 분석을 위한 알고리즘 구현: 미토콘드리아 사례

Abstract The studies on the human environment and ecosystem analysis is being actively researched. In recent years, The service of genome analysis has been offering the customized service to prevent the disease as reading an individual's genome information. The genome information by analyzing technology is being required accurate and fast analyses of ecosystem-dielectrics due to the spread of the disease, the use of genetically modified organism and the influx of exotic. In this paper the algorithm of K-Mean clustering for a new classification system was utilized. It will provide new dielectrics information as quickly and accurately for many biologists. 대학생의 진로지도프로그램이 자아존중감, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로개발준비도에 미치는 효과

Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of career preparation program on self-esteem, self-efficacy related career decision-making and career development readiness in university students. The structured career development program was given in 124 participants, Sep.~Dec, 2014 in D city. SPSS/Win 18.0. was used. The 1.06 points were decreased in self-esteem(t=3.39, p=.00) than before. The 14.22 points, 17.36 points were increased in self-efficacy(t=-12.41, p=.00), and career development readiness(t=-13.85, p=.00) than before. It showed the program was effective. Three variables showed correlation with one another. We suggested this structured career preparation program would be applied and extended more in career development for the college students. And the follow-up studies about self esteem and relating factors will be needed. 라즈베리파이를 이용한 빅 데이터 처리 학습 환경 구축

Abstract Big data processing is a broad term for processing data sets so large or complex that traditional data processing applications are inadequate. Widespread use of smart devices results in a huge impact on the way we process data. Many organizations are contemplating how to incorporate or integrate those devices into their enterprise data systems. We have proposed a way to process big data by way of integrating Raspberry Pi into a Hadoop cluster as a computational grid. We have then shown the efficiency through several experiments and the ease of scaling of the proposed system. 영문학 기반 키네틱 교육 콘텐츠의 교육적 유의미성과 현장 활용 방안 탐구

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the meaningfulness and the possibility of developing kinetic narrative educational contents based on English literature with convergent approaches. To accomplish the objective, this paper examines three areas of research such as kinetic education, English literature education, and total physical response-storytelling method. It introduces the following three stages of development procedure: 1) selecting and analyzing English literature, 2) designing a prototype including the story flow, the movement and the motion interaction design, and 3) constructing motion database using Laban movement analysis. Then, how to apply it to young learners is illustrated with ‘the story of the three little pigs,’ Finally, implication for the field of young learner English education and English literature is discussed. ABSTRACT Purpose: Government quality assurance (QA) activities in Korea, which is carried out by the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality, is not effective due to 1) the obscureness of the QA implementation method, 2) the gap between QA activities of provisions and those conduc ted in the fields, and 3) the variation in subjective judgement among the QA personnel. 아이디어의 창의성과 고객만족의 측정에 관한 연구

ABSTRACT Purpose: This study is aimed to introduce the OPA-Kano method, an integrated version of OPA(Originality Practicality Analysis) and Kano's customer satisfaction method, and to examine its applicability.Methods: 30 ideas for smart phone accessories are generated using brain storming and SIT(Systematic Inventive Thinking) and they are analyzed through the OPA-Kano method. 지식재산과 금융의 융합: 다이아몬드 모델을 이용한 경쟁력 비교

Abstract This study compares and analyzes the national competitiveness in IP finance using the diamond model. The main findings of our analysis are as follows. First, assuming Korea's competitiveness in IP finance to be 1, USA with 1.63 has the highest competitiveness of all countries compared, and Israel is 1.49 followed by Japan with 1.37. Second, Korea and other countries compared show large differences in the areas of demand conditions, strategic structure, and competition. Third, Korea is inferior compared to other countries considered in terms of the factors including the protection of investors and IPR, and government policies. Since most of the factors in which Korea shows inferiority can be managed by public policies, to strengthen the competitiveness of IP finance, the government's active support to build industrial foundation are required. 중소기업의 융복합 경영전략을 위한 기술이전의 결정요인에 관한 연구

Abstract The objective of this paper is to examine the determinants of technology transfer for Small and Medium Enterprises. Based on IP-MARKET, KIPRIS, and Wintelips, we employ the logistic regression analysis using all data related with technology transfer in markets for intellectual property rights from 2008 through 2012. Our main results are as followings: (i)the more inventors the higher possibility; and (ii)the more claims and forwards the higher possibility of success in technology transfer in Small and Medium Enterprises. 다면적 주거환경 구성요소가 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향

Abstract This paper was to explore the effects of multiphasic components of home environment on life satisfaction. This survey was conducted from September, 2015 to November, 2015 and 298 responses from the survey were used for the analysis. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation and Multiple Regression. The research findings could be summarized as the followings. First, each of the elements of home environment was generally recognized as average level. while, the mean score of privacy was higher than average. Second, privacy, economics, high income and good health were the significant predictors to explain life satisfaction. In conclusion, privacy and economics among the multiphasic components of home environment were major variables that affect life satisfaction. 관광소셜커머스상의 관광객 조절초점의 조절효과에 대한 연구: 고객가치, 만족도, 지속적 이용의도간의 관계를 중심으로

Abstract We analyzed the relationship among customer value, satisfaction and continuous use intention of tourism social commerce in this study. And also we observed the moderating effects of regulatory focus on the relationship between customer value and satisfaction. As the results, we found partially positive relationship between customer value and satisfaction and positive relationship between satisfaction and continuous use intention of tourism social commerce. The regulatory focus partially moderated the relationship between customer value and satisfaction. Finally we emphasize the importance of customer value, enhancing promotion focus and weakening prevention focus for continuous use intention of tourism social commerce. 융복합 시대의 대학생의 이타행동과 관련변인들의 구조적 관계 분석

Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of moral elevation and self control on the relationship between moral identity, character strengths, family strengths, and altruistic behavior in the times of convergence. The collected data were analyzed by SEM. The results of this study were as follows: First, moral self has indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control in turn, and character strengths, have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control and moral elevation, self control in turn, and family strengths have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through self control. Second, it was found that there was a significant gender difference in the structural weights of character strengths and moral elevation. 융복합시대 기업의 CSR활동이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 : 이미지 및 평판의 매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract Regarding CSR activities of companies in the convergence era, this study tried to find out how CSR activities, image, and reputation would affect the purchase. A total of 200 questionnaires targeting citizens residing in Daegu, Gyeongsang Province were used and it found an alternative on how to establish marketing strategy through CSR activities in the convergence era. First, CSR activities have a positive effect on the purchase intention. Second, corporate image will mediate the degree of corporate CSR activities and purchases. Third, corporate reputation will mediate the degree of corporate CSR activities and purchases. CSR activities have become essential, not an option, and the company that fulfills its social responsibility appears to be loved as seen in the market performance.
