Every year more and more scientists from different countries of the world participate in the conference. In 2018 representatives of 26 countries take part in the conference (Belarus, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Syria, Ukraine, USA, Vietnam, Yemen), and the conference itself is held for the first time in one working language - English. This allows to expand the scope of international professional interaction, develop the principles of partnership and enhance integration and cooperation in the construction science area.An important feature of the conference has always been its interest for young researchers. Since 2004, the All-Russian competition with international participation "Youth Innovations" has been held within the framework of the conference, supported by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences. In 2013, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation included this Competition in the "List of Olympiads and other competitive events, which resulted in awarding prizes to support talented youth." The competition "Youth Innovations" is held for participants under the age of 25 years and provides an opportunity for early identification of talented interested youth that can be creative in tough competitive conditions of international globalization.Annual Conference “Construction the Formation of Living Environment” is one of the largest scientific conferences on Advanced in Civil Engineering held in the territory of the Russian Federation and allows actively form a new idea of construction as a high-tech and knowledge-intensive industry. After all, today Civil Engineering is not limited to just the stage of erecting a construction project, but involves managing the full life cycle of building systems that have a high degree of digitization at all stages - from design to decommissioning. And it is the acquisition of new scientific knowledge and the wide exchange of scientific experience among researchers working in various scientific fields that can provide humanity with a quality, safe, energy-efficient environment and the infrastructure necessary for further technological growth and development.Andrey Volkov, Andrey PustovgarConference Chairs
