Abstract
We compare the performances of various types of XUV spectrometers in terms of grating efficiency and spectral resolution: toroidal grating monochromator (TGM) and spectrograph (TGS) on one hand and plane grating monochromator (PGM) on the other. From both points of view, TGSs are able to work over wider spectral ranges than TGMs, particularly for large deviation angles and groove densities. PGMs allow better aberration correction and resolution than TGM configurations.
