Abstract

It has been established that, independently of the conditions of the interaction between poly-e-caproamide and ortho-phosphoric acid, a new oligomeric product (an oligoamidophosphate) is obtained that is characterized by a high tendency towards crystallization, which does not exhibit any capacity for polymorphic transformation under the action of heat and which contains combined phosphoric acid. This bond is of the hydrogen type, formed between the proton of the polymeric amide group and oxygen of the ortho-phosphoric acid.
