Abstract

This article deals with the digital communication of Do-It-Yourselfers who are active in various Facebook groups and contact each other. For the purpose of research were selected Facebook profiles that publish a wide range of posts. Ideas and tips as well as own successful projects and implementations of DIY projects are presented. The aim of the study is to examine the linguistic structures and stylistic elements and to show how Do-It-Yourselfers communicate in the digital environment. It will also be discussed which technical terms appear in Facebook communication related to DIY and in which contexts they are used.
