Abstract

(Abstracted from Hum Reprod 2022;37:1255–1273) Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine-metabolic disorder affecting 5% to 15% of reproductive aged women worldwide. Traditionally, PCOS has been diagnosed based on the presence of 2 of 3 features, including radiologically confirmed polycystic ovaries, oligo/amenorrhea, and hyperandrogenism.
