Abstract
The article is devoted to the features of distance learning in general and the features of distance learning in English in particular. The necessity of using distance learning technologies in the modern educational process is explained, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the practical issue of distance learning, its forms and ideas for the use of distance learning of the English language in the university are described.Distance learning is gaining more and more clients in organizations that are interested in developing the skills of their employees. There are many types of remote education, including online courses, mobile applications, and using virtual and augmented reality. Each of them has its own pros and cons, so when choosing a method, it is important to take into account the specific needs and goals of students.
