Abstract
The article contains the results of experimental and analytical studies of water-aerosol systems. The expediency of organization of water-aerosol systems for reducing the negative impact of dust emission at operator’s workplaces of machine-building production is substantiated. As a result of the research it was established that the coagulation of water particles with suspended dust particles depends on the dispersed composition of the dust. A methodology for collecting the determining initial data for the calculation of water-aerosol systems has been developed. Also in the article, the problems of PM10 and PM2.5 particles impact on the worker’s organism in machine-building industries, correct estimation of the exposure of workers employed in a particular industry to fine-dispersion dust are highlighted. The measures for the reduction of fine-dispersion dust concentration in working areas of engineering industries, ensuring the safety of workers are considered.
