Abstract

AbstractA 12‐week‐old, female, entire miniature dachshund presented with a 3‐week history of progressive vulval enlargement with an associated clear serous sanguinolent discharge. Vulval oedema was noted on clinical exam. Further investigations included a complete cell count, computer tomography and a guarded vaginal swab, which revealed vaginal epithelial cell keratinisation. After thorough anamnesis, the clinical signs were concluded to be a result of exogenous oestrogen exposure.
