Abstract
The purpose of this article is to determine the nature and characteristics of the interaction between Russian and Chinese dance art in the period of the 20th - 21st centuries. The philosophical views on the classification of Chinese dance as a classical art form are revealed. The patterns of manifestation of tendencies of Russian ballet art in Chinese classical dance are revealed. The conclusions show the lack of awareness of the scientific community about the influence of Russian dance art on the development of Chinese classical dance, weak interest, and incomplete understanding of the stated problem.
