Abstract

This article examines the history of the development of the translation into Russian of the works of Mo Yan - one of the most famous modern writers of China. In 2007, his works began to be translated in Russia, although a wide range of readers have known about Mo Yan in 2012, when he won the Nobel Prize in literature. Since that moment, an average of one work by the Chinese writer has been translated and published in Russia almost every year.
