Viewing Private Collections for the Public's Purse

Abstract

AbstractArt has turned philanthropist. During the month of April, three important private collections will be placed on public view for one day each. In addition to these, the Knoedler Galleries will hold an exhibition of paintings by Rembrandt, and will also have on view a collection of rare manuscripts belonging to Dr. Abraham Rosenbach. The charge for admission to these five functions is $5.00, inclusive, which will be devoted entirely to charity. These events are sponsored by the Adopt a Family Committee of the Emergency Unemployment Relief Fund.
