Vida y obra de dos escritoras desconocidas: Olimpia y Amantina Cobos Losúa

Abstract

Olimpia Cobos Losúa and Amantina Cobos Losúa are sisters who began writing in the early 20th century. Until now, important information about their biographies and their literary production and trajectory were unknown. This article will clarify many of the questions of both their lives and their works. For this purpose, it has been necessary to work in different Spanish archives and to search in newspaper libraries. The cataloguing and ordering of the material consulted has made it possible to reconstruct their personal and professional lives, as well as to open up new lines of research. In addition, the participation of intellectual women in the generational act of '27 is appreciated. Olimpia Cobos Losúa y Amantina Cobos Losúa son dos hermanas que empezaron a escribir a principios del siglo XX. Hasta la fecha se desconocían datos importantes de sus biografías y su producción y trayectoria literaria. En el presente artículo se esclarecerán muchas de las incógnitas tanto de sus vidas como de sus obras. Para ello ha sido necesario el trabajo en diferentes archivos españoles y el rastreo en hemerotecas. La catalogación y ordenación del material consultado ha permitido reconstruir sus vidas personales y profesionales, así como abrir nuevas líneas de investigación. Además, se aprecia la participación real de las mujeres intelectuales en el acto generacional del 27.
