Abstract

The purpose of this article is the presentation and analysis of the letters that Miguel de Unamuno sent to the Portuguese polygraph José Leite de Vasconcellos. With these missives the crossed correspondence between both of them is completed, by adding those of Unamuno to those we already knew of Leite. This allows us to delve into the relationship that these two Masters maintained, especially from the field of Philology and, more specifically, Linguistics, one of the main topics and dedications that united them. In addition, this correspondence is interesting because it is part of the beginnings of Unamuno's relations with Portugal, which over time will become crucial and very fruitful for him.Eliminar The purpose of this article is the presentation and analysis of the letters that Miguel de Unamuno sent to the Portuguese polygraph José Leite de Vasconcellos.
