Abstract

Because of complex operating environment and bad road conditions, how to guarantee that engineering vehicles can adapt the operating environment and run reliably, has become the hot spot attention topic of researchers and manufacturers. This paper focuses on the five freedom degrees model of engineering vehicle, and theory and structure of semi-active suspension. Based on the previous control strategies, draw the new conclusions and propose a new improved control algorithm. The adaptive fuzzy PID control is used in semi-active suspension control of engineering vehicle. In order to improve the performance of the control system, the adaptive fuzzy PID control strategy which combines the advantages of PID control and fuzzy control applies to the vibration control of engineering vehicle and adjusts on line the parameters of PID by fuzzy controllers. The results show that the control effect of adaptive fuzzy PID control improves by different degrees than the passive suspension and PID control suspension.
