Abstract
Para el 2018, se había perdido el 49,32 % del PIB total de Venezuela en tan solo cinco años (2014-2018). Realizando un análisis histórico y comparativo con el paquete econométrico Stata, se evidencia que esta evolución agregada del PIB representa el peor desempeño macroeconómico en magnitud y duración en la historia de Venezuela (1950-2018), el peor de América Latina y el segundo peor en el mundo en el periodo 1980-2018
