Abstract

Plumbene is recently drawing the interests of researchers around the globe due to its marvelous properties. Earlier researchers have noticed that thermal conductivity of plumbene fluctuates with variation in sample sizes. We find that with a surge in the number of layers heat current flowing across plumbene dwindles. Between layers 1 and 2, the variation of heat flow rate is too fast, then from layers 2 to 4 slightest decrease is accounted. Deliberate gain in heat flow rate for plumbene from sample sizes 600[Formula: see text]Å, 650[Formula: see text]Å, 700[Formula: see text]Å, 750[Formula: see text]Å, 800[Formula: see text]Å, 850[Formula: see text]Å, 950[Formula: see text]Å and 1000[Formula: see text]Å is noticed. But a remarkable increment is observed at 900[Formula: see text]Å.
