Abstract
This article aims to analyse the influence of linguistic factors in the use of nos/a gente on the subject position in Guarapuava, Parana. For this, we considered the following variables: relative determination, pronoun presence/absence, text type, verbal tense, verbal agreement and tone. The data analyzed in this community of speech are obtained from the database of Guarapuava, VARLINGUA. The sample consisted of 24 interviews, collected between the years 2014 and 2015, and stratified according to sex, male and female; the age, 25 to 45 years and 50 years or more and schooling, 1 to 4, 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years of school. We take based on theoretical assumptions of quantitative sociolinguistics proposed by William Labov (2008 [1972]), and for statistical data analysis, we use the program GoldvarbX.
