Abstract
Resumen Se presentan distintas cuestiones conceptuales sobre el suicidio en adolescentes, y se plantean los factores de riesgo y protección que están relacionados con el comportamiento suicida. Se ofrece una visión sobre las variables demográficas y psicosociales a tener en cuenta para la valoración del riesgo de tentativa o de suicidio consumado en adolescentes. Además, se desarrollan pautas para el fomento de los aspectos que se han demostrado eficaces para la lucha contra la tentativa de suicidio y el suicidio consumado en adolescentes y adultos jóvenes, siendo las relaciones interpersonales, factores a tener muy en cuenta para un análisis exhaustivo, dentro de la calidad de vida y bienestar emocional en este colectivo. Se concluye sobre aquellas variables demográficas y psicosociales que se contemplan de mayor interés para la prevención de la tentativa suicida, y se ofrecen diversas limitaciones de este estudio que pueden contemplarse como perspectivas futuras para investigadores y clínicos interesados en el suicidio en adolescentes. Palabras clave: relaciones interpersonales, prevención, suicidio, factores protectores Abstract We present various conceptual issues about teen suicide, and raise the risk and protective factors that are associated with suicidal behavior. It provides an insight into the demographic and psychosocial variables to consider for risk assessment or suicide attempt in adolescents. In addition, develop guidelines for the promotion of the aspects that have been proven effective in the fight against suicide attempt and completed suicide in adolescents and young adults, with interpersonal relationships, factors to be taken into account for a thorough analysis, in the quality of life and emotional well-being in this group. It is concluded on those demographic and psychosocial variables are contemplated interest for the prevention of suicide attempt, and there are various limitations of this study can be seen as future prospects for researchers and clinicians interested in teen suicide.
