The availability of useful sources for new mothers to educate them about infant’s general growth are few. Therefore, we made a SPIC for infant’s comprehensive health care for the new mothers with the prime focus to educate them. As their first contact is with pediatric health professionals for any concern in the infant’s overall growth, we validated SPIC from them and later assessed it’s perception by the new mothers. To validate the SPIC by pediatric health professionals and to assess it’s perception by new mothers Materials and Methods A SPIC was distributed to 50 pediatric health professionals including pediatric dentists and pediatricians and were asked to fill the questionnaire to validate the content of the calendar. After the modifications given by them, the changes were done accordingly before distributing it to 50 new mothers. The mothers were then asked to rate the SPIC in terms of the size, language by filling a questionnaire. Data collected was entered into a computer and analyzed using the SPSS software version.
