Abstract

Objective To evaluate the uterine artery embolization for the treatment of adenomyosis of the clinical effect.Methods January 2008-January 2010 with uterine artery embolization for treatment of 69 cases of patients with adenomyosis,with uterine artery embolization for treatment and observation of clinical efficacy.Results 69 patients with 138 uterine artery catheterization all goes well,the successful completion of surgery,the success rate of 100%.Clinical efficacy :69 cases of uterine adenomyosis after 45 cases of dysmenorrhea in patients with complete remission,21 patients with apparent ease,3 patients relapsed.Conclusion Transcatheter uterine artery embolization for the treatment of adenomyosis,the clinical effects of precise,with less trauma and faster recovery without the need for removal of the uterus,a reliable short-term effect,less complications and shorter hospitalization time,retaining the advantages of reproductive potential for the treatment of uterine adenomyosis provides a new minimally invasive method of treatment.
