Abstract

Increase in population, fast urbanization, industrialization, and economic development have resulted in an alarming increase in municipal solid waste creation on a global scale. Municipal solid trash appears to be an economically viable and appealing resource for producing green fuels via various waste-to-energy conversion techniques. The volume of waste generated in India has been continuously increasing in recent years. So the only way of reducing the Municipal solid waste inert is to use it economically and eco-friendly. With the use of Municipal solid waste inert, we replace the inert with fine aggregate in mortar. The tests conducted for the municipal solid waste inert are sieve analysis, specific gravity, pH test, compressive strength and scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-Ray (SEM/EDAX) Analysis.. In SEM/EDAX Analysis, the following compounds are present in the waste inert sample such as Carbon, Oxygen, Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon, Sulphur, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, Titanium and Copper. From the above mentioned characteristic test results indicates good strength and there is no harmful substances in the inert concrete so it may be applicable for dead load structures like partition walls, dividers, compound walls etc.,
