Updating mediation activities of social and educational sphere specialists in the context of digitalization

Abstract

In the context of changes in the socio-economic environment caused by digitalization and globalization of the modern multicultural society, the mediation activities of specialists of "helping professions"are updated. Based on the current Russian legislation and existing empirical and personal experience, the article substantiates the importance of the mediation approach for the safe and effective functioning of the social and educational sphere. It is emphasized that the modern system of higher professional education, based on the postulates of this approach, can make a significant contribution to the training of specialists and the creation of conditions for the organization of both the educational process and the functioning of educational institutions themselves, ensuring the safety of the environment and excluding the occurrence of conflicts, including various threats and challenges of modernity.
