Abstract

The article examines the role of agent-based position of participants of the educational process in the implementation of the concept of productive education in the practice of private schools in St. Petersburg, identifies markers of agent-based position and other factors in the implementation of the concept. The rating of factors has been determined. The definition of the agentic position is formulated in the context of the metamodern educational discourse. The article shows that the agency position of children is the most significant factor for the implementation of the concept of productive education in the practice of private schools in St. Petersburg.The data obtained by the authors using qualitative and quantitative methods mutually verify each other, which allows us to state a significant degree of reliability of the results presented by the authors. The article concludes about the transformative role of productive education in the current educational continuum.
