Abstract

MSMEs are micro, small and medium enterprises business units from the community that always need assistance and training to support government programs. We provide training and assistance in simple and practical bookkeeping. According to the survey results, the owner of “Ning Har Sambel Pecel Suroboyo” has only made financial reports for the sake of taking notes. For this reason, in an effort to improve the quality of financial statement information, it is necessary to conduct counseling. Through the Community Service Program for the Utilization of Science and Technology for the Community (PIKAT) we seek to assist MSMEs in recording financial books in a practical and easy manner by using the help of applications that are designed in such a way, so that they are easy to understand and can improve their knowledge and skills. So that the results of the information from the financial statements can be quickly and easily obtained and of good quality, especially by the management. The results of this counseling show that MSME owners apply the accounting knowledge that has been given and use the Count & Grow application in their financial records, and MSME turnover is increasing. Thus the quality of information on financial statements can help MSMEs in managing financial conditions for the better and can be used as a basis for decision making
