Abstract

Parental Bonding is an important variable for the nourishment of a child. Numerous studies have emphasized that parental involvement plays a significant role in the development of a child. The role of a mother is extensively studied but the role and involvement of the father is not studied well in previous research. This research aims to highlight the positive contributions of both father and mother, specifically educated parents in the development of interconnected dimensions of a child. A qualitative research method was employed including interviews with middle-class educated parents. Thematic Analysis of the qualitative data revealed four themes which were: Academic performance, Leisure time activities, Moral values, and Dietary habits which underscore the prominent roles of Educated Parents in promoting the holistic development of a child.
