Abstract
In this autobiographical text it is explained how the book La introduccion de la ciencia moderna en Espana (The Introduction of Modern Science in Spain), written by Jose Maria Lopez Pinero, marked the author’s training as science historian. In the text Prof. Lopez Pinero is considered a reformist of teaching and Spanish historiographical methods during the second half of the 20th Century.
