Abstract
The author presents a previously unknown painting by the Baroque artist from Cordoba, Antonio del Castillo y Saavedra. It is an Ecce Homo , a late work, and located in a private collection in Granada.

Proliferó la producción escultórica de bustos, inspirados según Bray en un grabado de Lucas Vorsteman sobre pintura de Van Dyck, que permitían interiorizar aún más en el sacrificio de Cristo al ser contemplados en un espacio íntimo[10]
Esta imagen del Ecce Homo responde, por un lado, a la espiritualidad de la sociedad barroca, materializada en la demanda constante de este tipo de representaciones, y por el otro, al momento personal de Antonio del Castillo
