En este trabajo desvelamos el lugar de nacimiento del pintor Diego Polo Merino, conocido por la historiografía como Diego Polo el Menor, y nos acercamos a su vida profesional y familiar a partir de los documentos inéditos localizados, que permiten replantear varios aspectos de su enigmática personalidad.
