Abstract

This contribution proposes an unpublished bronze fragment of  boxer from the nuragic sanctuary of Santa Vittoria di Serri and introduces the study of the iconography of the so-called boxer in Sardinian bronzes, starting from the analysis of the statues from the archaeological site of Mont'e Prama (Cabras). This contribution also presents an experimental reconstruction of the boxer's glove, proposing a different interpretation for the instrument.
