Abstract

The article shows a reconstruction of the physiognomy of the cemetery area under the church of San Lucifero in Cagliari, through the data obtained from a reexamination of the results of the excavations carried out in the area during the 17th century as part of the search for the so-called cuerpos santos. The analysis of the burials brought to light there has been given special importance and described from a typological and, wherever possible, archeo-anthropological point of view.
