Abstract
Abstract UHB STAVAX ESR is a chromium martensitic stainless tool steel which is Electro-Slag Refined (ESR) to provide the best polishability. It is characterized by (1) excellent polishability, (2) high hardness, (3) good hardenability and (4) fair corrosion resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-299.
