Abstract
The paper explores the use of standardized and limited speeds and acceleration with steady traffic flow without overtaking and competing. This approach could be a condition for substantially reducing traffic damage and saving traffic expense. Enforced by law and by compulsory built-in electronic speed controllers, non-competitive traffic would provide new possibilities instead of speed restrictions. Theoretical and empirical studies indicate benefits for social, cultural, economic and environmental conditions.
