Abstract

The 4D BIM model links the construction schedule and the 3D construction model. The 4D model makes possible to visualize how the construction and its structures in the construction site would look like at any point in time by simulation the construction process. The article provides basic information about BIM technology and 4D modeling. Various levels of tools for creating 4D models are presented in the core of the article. The analysis of selected software from the point of view of their conformity with requirements for creation and for usage of 4D models in construction practice is processed.
