Abstract
Despite the fact that entrepreneurial orientation (EO) introduces innovation and a competitive edge to an organization, there is scant attention paid to how employee EO affects individual radical creativity. Using multisource data from a sample of 220 matched employee–manager dyads, we find that employee EO has an inverted U-shaped effect on radical creativity. Moreover, the inverted U-shaped relationship between employee EO and radical creativity is more profound when tie strength is high, whereas the inverted U-shaped relationship is less profound when network centrality is high.
