Abstract
Abstract We demonstrated surface-assisted laser desorption–ionization mass spectrometry measurement of oligosaccharides on a titania surface. Insource fragmentation which had never been reported was observed. We considered that this fragmentation was caused by surface properties of titania, and this suggestion may lead to new application of SALDI-MS.
