Objective To investigate the clinical application of enalapril and folic acid tablets in the treatment of H-type hypertension. Methods A total of 60 patients with H-type hypertension admitted to 109 Hospital of Shanxi from June 2014 to May 2017 were selected as the study subjects. The control group was treated with enalapril and the study group was treated with enalapril and folic acid tablets. The short-term effects of the two groups were recorded. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and homocysteine (Hcy) levels between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of SBP and DBP in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P 0.05). The incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular adverse events (6.67%) in the study group was lower than that in the control group (30.00%, P<0.05).
