Abstract

1. By an analysis of the nonstationary temperature field in the reacting system, the initial temperature of which is below the temperature of the surrounding medium, we investigated the principles of combustion within a broad range of variation of the parameters (limiting systems — autoignition and ignition, as well as the principles in the transition region). 2. The upper limit of the system of autoignition was established. The possibility of separation of the total time lag of combustion into induction period and time of heating in the entire region of autoignition was demonstrated.
