Abstract

The relation between the type of distribution of units in polycondensation copolymers and the method of mixing the intial monomers and their activities was examined theoretically. A comparison of the micro-heterogeneity coefficient calculated with experimental values in the literature showed satisfactory quantitative agreement in most cases. Distribution functions were calculated according to the lengths of various monomer units in copolymer macromolecules.
