Abstract

Introduction. One of the main problems of modern society is the formation of a healthy nation, in particular the younger generation. Teachers, physicians and parents declare the delay, retardation, violation and non-compliance with norms in children’s development, inferiority of their health. First of all, such deviations concern musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Therefore, nowadays teachers and heads of children choreographic collectives face the task of developing physical and psychological health of children by means of musical and dance activity. The purpose of the article is to highlight the theoretical aspect of musical and dance activity experience.Methods. In order to realize the purpose of the article a complex of methods was used: general scientific – analysis, generalization, systematization, which were used to determine the state of development of the problem of musical and dance activity, as well as specific scientific – terminological analysis and interpretation used in the definition of the basic concepts.Originality. Musical and dance activity is one of the types of music activity in which the content of music, its character, images are transmitted into movements. The basis is music, and various physical exercises, dances, story-shaped moves are used as the means of its deeper perception and understanding. Musical and dance activity is a kind of musical activity, the basis of which is the interaction of music and rhythmic move. In the process of move to music, children master the culture of the body, “the language of moves”, their moves improve and get expressive. Conclusion. On the basis of terminological analysis and interpretation of scientific thought, we have outlined the theoretical aspect of musical and dance activity experience and summarized the scientific views of native researchers on the identified issues. It is proved that the concept of “experience of musical and dance activity” does not have a clear definition. Musical and dance activity is considered by the native researchers as the way of forming attitudes to the world, to oneselves, to another ones. On the basis of analysis and systematization of different approaches to the theoretical substantiation of the mentioned problem, it was established that the experience of musical and dance activity is formed on the basis of musical and rhythmic dance actions, since it is a synthetic form of work and provides interconnection of musical, dance class and self-expression of the personality.
