Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of optimizing the professional training of future social workers to work in alternative forms of state child custody. A number of problems of the identified process are highlighted, namely: different approaches to the content of training; the inability of modern part-time and distance forms of social work training to provide quality vocational training; high content of groups, which does not allow to develop the relevant skills; significant amounts of educational material that students need to learn; lack of narrow specializations within the specialty; excessive theorization of the learning process; insufficient motivation of the student's educational activity; the lack of clear guidance for graduates to further employment. It is indicated that the transition from institutional to alternative forms will help children in these categories live and develop harmoniously in conditions as close to family, and in the future – to become worthy citizens of their country, to create his own family with positively directed vital functions. It is indicated that, despite the large number of studies on the indicated area, in our opinion, insufficient attention is paid to the problem of professional training of future specialists to work in alternative forms of state care and improvement. Identified a number of problems of professional training of future social workers to work in alternative forms of state custody of children (different approaches in different educational institutions to study content social work; failure of the modern correspondence and distance education social work to provide quality professional training; most occupancy groups allows you to practice relevant skills; large volume of training material necessary for future specialist; the lack of specializations within the specialization; excessive theorization of learning; lack of motivation of educational activity of the student; the lack of graduates clear guidance of further employment) and the proposed ways of their solution. The ways of solving these problems are suggested and the prospects of further scientific research are outlined. In the future it is envisaged to analyze foreign experience of professional training of future social workers to work with alternative forms of social care of children.
